@Futures Operator

What software are you using to produce this graph?

Bandwidth Monitor - Monitor Bandwidth, Network Bandwidth Monitor, Bandwidth Monitor Software

Nice little program, only wish it would graph/log bandwidth use by application, and not just total, so I can see what each feed/platform actually uses by itself. Still looking for an application that does this and works (tried netbalancer, couldn't get it to run).

I think the main difference between Rithmic and Zenfire is that Rithmic provides US markets only (thus having servers in US only), while Zenfire provides Eurex and LIFFE/Euronext too, and has a server in Germany.Am I correct?

I can say rithmic is excellent. As far as zenfire I had some trouble with it in the past but I have "heard" they corrected many of the issues which mainly had to do with disconnects.

"The day I became a winning trader was the day it became boring. Daily losses no longer bother me and daily wins no longer excited me. Took years of pain and busting a few accounts before finally got my mind right. I survived the darkness within and now just chillax and let my black box do the work."

For my knowledge thats not correct. Zenfire hasn't public known servers in germany. The eurex feed is routed to their main servers in the us - thats also the position of their risk management server. CQG has servers in the near of london.

It's my understanding that Rithmic now offers a Liffe access with FuturePath.
Is that a real Rithmic or Zenfire ?

You might ask @mattz or start a new separate thread for that question.

Hope this is not necro.

In terms of data/ticks coming in, will there be any differences in the ask/bid or even the bars (i.e. comparing the bars of Mirus/Zen-Fire 1 min chart to Optimus/Rithmic 1 min chart for TF during market hours)?

I heard some brokers with different data feeds produce a slightly different chart. But since Rithmic or Zen-Fire is very similar, they should provide the same chart?

If I am asking the question in the wrong way/sense, please correct me =)

@Azrael

Caveat: Zen-Fire's development team vanished and they are incredibly opaque, so I'm just making an educated guess here.

The data quality should be the same. Same software, same incoming feed from exchange. You should also see differences in data if you made comparisons whether on the same machine with the two feeds or on separate machines not necessarily owned by you - this difference in data will be due to randomness of dropped packets.

P.S.: I used to live in Singapore, too. PM me if there's anything I can do to help - I'm not necessarily qualified but I run a trading firm, if that makes me an authority on the matter.

Just curious, you were in Singapore for work? What is the name of your firm? You sound awesome.
