Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers. 6) Help using the forum? Watch this video to learn general tips on using the site.

The following user says Thank You to Big Mike for this post:
2. They are sick of paying Rithmic and are trying to phase them out and so moved their developers on to a new project, or
3. They had a couple of lead developers who were the only ones who understood how everything worked, and these guys left without leaving something maintainable - deceased, fell out, spun off etc.
(1) is unlikely to be true, since it still works. (2) is still rather unlikely, since they should have at least still have the expertise to support the API users. (3) is probably most likely. I'm not associated with the firm so I don't think it's ethical for me to speculate about their private matters, but I do feel the customers should clarify with the firm directly if it affects their trading.
