Hi there, new to the forum. Sorry if wrong channel, but I can't create the topic in 'Brokers' forum yet.

Anyway. I want to start trading euro bonds, DE bunds in particular and I can't find brokers, other than IB, that are ready to work with us-residents. Googling and searching didn't really help, so now I am asking this in different forums, hoping that the community could help.

I can't really afford IB with their 10k yet, minimum deposit

Thanks in advance for any information!

I used to trade the Bund and the EuroStoxx with Amp Clearing. Worked well. Data is about 20 euros / month.

Hi Matt,
I can't PM you due to my low rate here, so I will post the question here.

I don't really understand the business of OptimusFutures. On your site I see that you are a broker with connection to several FCMs, AMP included. I can open an account directly with AMP and start trading right away with them, as far as I can tell, so why do I need OptimusFutures then? What am I missing? What do you provide on top of what AMP provides?

It is a fair question and one that is asked by many before establishing an account with us. Let me address this question in a general way rather than talk about one specific FCM. The ultimate answer to your questions is Optimus customers want to be serviced by Optimus Futures.

As an IB we go above and beyond to service our customers. This does not just mean being polite and courteous rather create an abundance of resource for every technology we offer, platform and keeping up with the technology that is being offered. The truth is that is what we focus on each and every day. I feel that we need to invest in our traders so they can be better decision makers in their futures trading. This includes all the videos for the platforms, written guides, educational weekly blogs, and other things we are working on as a value-add for Optimus futures customers exclusively.

I do not view the FCMs as our competition. Rather, as our partners. We have learned to utilize the strength they have and make it a choice for our customers. As customer trading needs change, we have the ability to offer objective advice where to clear, and yet still maintain a relationship with the customer.

Finally, all the customers here had a choice at some point. These are intelligent people and the reason they choose and still chose us is that we never stop working for them and never take their business for granted.

Thank you,
Matt Z

One great thing about trading Eurex products is that the commission costs are quite a bit lower.

Good luck to you.

Correct. But that is because the Eurex is cheaper than the CME. The Eurex fees are about half or a third of the CME, depending on the contract.

I used to trade the Bund and the EuroStoxx with Amp Clearing. Worked well. Data is about 20 euros / month.

as I see on AMP site, they have FGBL bunds. My plan is to trade from TradingView integrated with AMP through CQG.
But when I open FGBL in TradingView, it says, that only 1D, 1W and 1Month chart are available due to Eurex restrictions.

I am a bit confused now. Does it mean that I will get only one update a day about the price? Or I will get the normal 'real live' streaming of the price, but I will still not be able to trade from TradingView? Or I will be able, but I will have to do it kind of 'blindly'?
Can you please shed a bit of light on this question?
