cunparis in the new indicators ive posted i set some of them to true and some to false depending on what i need out of the indicator but there is no reason why you cant turn what indicators you want on true or false...sharky

this topic and forum have been a huge help to my trading. I can honestly say that I have made 22Ticks this week I can directly attribute to your templates. Of course I've altered some things, but this thread and forum has given me a much better understanding of how these indicators work together and how to build a chart template that works for you.

I've been using your "adxvma for sharky" from the download section. Do the indicators attached on page 3 of this thread supersede that one?
EDIT:
Check out the attached screenshot. It shows that the "ADXVMA for Sharky", shown as yellow dots, stops plotting before the "dma - 14zl/1adx" stops plotting white dots....
I just bring this up because if you were waiting for the neutral dots to stop plotting, then the adxvma for sharky may be better than the dma - 14zl/1adx.
Hey guys I'm hoping for some clarification on the setup criteria, here's what Sharky said in the first post:
I have a few questions. Sorry if I seem slow but I'm a programmer and I break everything down into steps so that I don't mess things up.
- The wording above is a big ambiguous. What role do the consolidation dots on the 11 range chart have? Do we pay attention to them?
- The 22 EMA DoubleMA and Eco2 indicators are not mentioned. How do they fit into the criteria?
- The MACD colors are sometimes yellow. Does that mean we can go long or short? Or neither?
- My eco bars are sometimes yellow but in the video Sharky's are never yellow. Did I miss something?
- The stats is rarely all green or red. What is the criteria on the 11 range? I know on the 4 range if it gets a little red we exit.
Here is the way I understand it, which may change depending on the answers above:
11 Range chart:
Look at macd, bar color, the 7 zero lag DoubleMA, and stats and if all are the same color then we can go long or short. If one of them is a different color then we sit out.
4 Range:
Entry:
Once the consolidation dots are drawn we look at the color of the 7 zero lag DoubleMA, macd colors, stats, and bar color. If they're all the same color and we get a close above the consolidation dots then we enter a trade.
Exit:
It seems different people are experimenting with different exits. Sharky says he goes for 2-3 ticks and exits if stats starts turning the opposite color. Others play with it a little and use 2 targets with 2nd being the runner.
Thanks in advance for clarifying the above points. I was watching ZN & CL today. ZN was so slow, very little consolidation. CL was all over the place and it seemed that the method worked very well for CL today (from what I saw and from what the guys in the chatroom were saying). It's cool to watch both and take trades when you see them.
Sakis, good to know that you are using Sharky's setup for trading EUR/USD. I'm presently doing FX DEMO using NinjaTrader, and Sharky's setup looks very interesting; ofcourse, I have to tweak it to my taste and style; and it is working. Meanwhile, please could you post or let me know the indicator you use for the upper part of your chart showing the followings;
Sharky's setup gave me last week 50 pips very very easy!!!!!if i have time to trade
I move my stop loss to +1 and wach the market !I am really so happyuntill now the setup works fine!I must stay out at news time and wach the spread!!!!
