Hey Sharky,

Is there a time of day that you consider optimal for the one trade a day approach?

Thanks, Jeff

How do you find slippage comparing to general session from 8:30CST/9:30EST? Is it same or worse?

Not sure what you mean by "general session", the TY pit opens at 7:20 Central Time. He's starting 10 minutes after the pit opening.

Oh, Ok. I'm trading index futures and thought that ZN is most actively traded during same time 9:30-16:00 EST. My bad.

You could check that by looking at the volume on a 15 minute chart. I don't remember doing that for ZN, I have for other markets such as CL. I've found that usually the best trading times are during the pit session (currencies & gold are exceptions).

Greetings,

I've been looking at the jt Stats indicator.
I've noticed on the ES the Show High/Low/Same settings seem strange to me.
Perhaps it is just me?

Wouldn't it make sense to have the High/Low/Same to show the Same only when there are between the bid and ask prices trading?
When I use this feature, the Gray bars are always way out of proportion to the bid and ask and on most tick candles, either the bid or ask prices show and lots of gray prices.

This is happening when the T&S is showing lots of bids and/or asks going by but very few same prices.

Thanks,
