You can get a Ninja sim for a couple of weeks from the Ninjatrader Brokerage website.
After that if you want an independent data feed for awhile you could use https://kinetick.com/ which is a cheaper version of the highly regarded DTN IQFeed, but just for the NinjaTrader platform only.
You do not win as a trader, you just get to play again the next day. If that game doesn’t appeal to you then you should not trade. Gary Norden
Bear in mind that the most popular feed out there - TT (by the fact so many pros use it) - is a bit less accurate in matching the "side" a trade occured that all 3 of them.
Rithmic tends to have more levels of depth - but I saw that CQG recently upped the levels on CL considerably.
Has to be said though, professionals are not looking at depth a 100 levels out. It is a sales pitch used out there at the moment but I've yet to hear of a single tangible value of more than 20 levels - and then on a faster market like NQ/DAX.

I have purchased Jigsaw Daytradr recently and have the same questions as PsNau. PsNau, if you have already purchased a data feed could you please share your experience, as to your choice, costs etc?
I am considering Kinetick with NT8 (Jigsaw has plugin for NT8), but am a little unclear (their website is confusing) about the total costs. If anyone is already using Kinetick data feed, would appreciate some info. please. I trade futures like CL, ES, GC, so does this mean that my minimum expense would be $60 (basic) + $20 (Globex Non-pro level II data) =$80 per month?
How much does CQG cost, by comparison?
The price for Kinetick in large part will be determined based on your eligibility for non-pro globex fees. Please write in to support at kinetick and they can provide you with an exact monthly cost.

Does your CQG feed come with your trading platform? - i.e. is it provided free by your broker and you only pay the CME fees? That sort of arrangement may also be attractive for me, provided Jigsaw can use the same data feed.
Currently I have trading accounts with TD Ameritrade and Infinity, but Jigsaw cannot use these two sources for data.
My trading platform is CQG as well, I pay $40/month for that. Regardless, the CME prices its non-professional bundle data fee (which includes access to all the CME-owned exchanges) at $15/month.
