I'm new to futuresio and really appreciate the incredible knowledge base.
I have just switched from multicharts trading futures to ninjatrader since I have purchased the NOFT IES tools.
Let me first say the support at NOFT is absolutely incredible.

I have been experiencing numerous program lockups during the AM trading period and I'm really hesitant to trade live not having a backup phone app. Just wondering if there is anyone using the software that has experienced any problems.
Ninja and NOFT are working on it but no solutions as of yet.

NINJA support recently (last week) ... jacked into my computer ... i was having the same program lockups ... they first suggested i update my VIDEO drivers ... after completing that task ... my box still locked up ...

when they remoted into my computer .. they told me that my VIDEO card was not sufficient to handle NINJA 8 ... my computer is flawless on NINJA 7

not sure if this helps ... but if your trading computer is older than 4yrs old ... it could be your VIDEO card is the issue.

by the way .... just saw the NOFT seminar ... "order flow" indicator does not work for me having the "free or direct" NINJA license ...

is the NOFT program worth checking out ?? hell ... i lose 100 on a bad trade anyway ...

As for NOFT save your money as it’s not what they say it is

They have lost a number of their staff as they could see how flawed their system is
The system is great after the event and only good when it hits the lines which is once a week

I was in their room when CL went up 120 points and their system which is orderflow did not even pick any of that movement

Also they say they have institutional edge which sounds more a marketing line than a reality

Save your money and even in the World Cup program they have lost heaps and they have been kicked out

Hi Gents,
I've been using noft and NT8 now for over 7 months and I will admit that at times it has been frustrating keeping the system stable. Let me first say that noft tech suport is the most responsive helpful support team I have ever worked with.
They have had some frustrations working with ninja, ie when ninja changes something in their system and doesn't tell noft about it, or microsoft changes their framework and doesn't tell ninja about it. The video card issue is usually not a problem if yo keep your drivers updated. Ninja's graphics engine is way behind TOS or Motivewave.
But I digress; is noft IES worth the dollars? The IES package gives you a really comprehensive set of tools with tons of information, the problem is picking what you need and incorporating it into your trading strategy. I trade the NQ and YM mainly and it has taken me a couple of months to get the right charts set up for my trading. You can easily get into an information overload with this system. As a side note their advanced mentoring group which has a yearly fee, provides an incredible amount of trading knowledge and techniques for the IES that can't be beat.
Depending on what your strategy is there are much cheaper alternatives, I think orderflows.com has a great set of tools and marketdelta offers another alternative for order flow which is unique. Jigsaw trading and Peter Davies is another outstanding order flow guru.
Does order flow help my trading? Absolutely, I don't think you can day trade without it. Are any of these tools the magic trading tool to end all tools, I don't think so.
