I am also scalping. I highly recommend Tradovate+Jigsaw. If you are a scalper, commission will kill you. If you find any other broker with low commissions, you should trade with Rapidtrader Pro, it is just as fast as TT. If you are in Europe, try trading the EUREX, it is a lot cheaper than the CME. Later on you should consider a symmetric internet line to reduce latency.
I think the best combo is: cheap commissions, Rapid trader, symmetric line, Sierracharts for charting only.

It would obviously depend upon whether your scalping is manual or automated, but I think you will find have something colocated will make a much bigger difference than how fast your software is.
