Hi I am using motivewave and amibroker. I am looking for tick data from years 2005 onwards. I don't think kinetick can give me data that goes back that far.

You most likely will have to pay of course. It's not cheap but not too expensive. I have used ActiveTick in the past. They give you tick data on SPX or any other security. That includes trade and quote data. I think it only goes back to 2007 though. I also don't know if it will work with motivewave.

Actually my question is about the tick data that is maintained in this forum. The thread "QCollector tick data sharing thread" in elite circle. Is SPX data maintained in that thread?
