Hi,
Does anyone know of an indicator that will the flatten the account when a specific profit or loss target is reached? I have one that flattens the chart, but looking for one that flattens the entire account.

A stop order? I am not sure what you mean by "I have one that flattens the chart but not the entire account."

I recall looking at reading account value from an indicator (vs strategy) in NT 7 over a year ago.

Maybe a better way but accessing account data from an indicator is not straightforward however Gomi did some work using a SQL database patch (I have it installed, it works to display the values nicely on a live account).

Follow the entire thread. If nothing more obvious available, could be a step to what you want (if not a completely inelegant answer).
