I'm recently back in the game from about 10 yrs removed. From 1998 to 2004 I was a NASDAQ Market Maker and for two years an institutional agency trader. I am now in a prop set up trading from home, focusing on stocks intra day, I've only been trading for about a month or. I'm still trying to figure out what to trade and strategy. So far I'm trading very small focusing on strategy. When I made markets, I kept it very simple, in large cap very liquid names, traded around 500k shares a day. Now I'm trading less than 5k a day and much less somedays. I really need help with strategy, what I should be watching, somewhat frustrated at the moment, but I can take lots of time, I don't have the pressure of making a positive p/l.
