Hi Folks!
I've just created an account and looking forward to spending time here to learn all I can before I actually dive into the fine art. I did some simple trading when I was very young in my high school years but of course at that age my inexperience and greed prevented me from truly being successful (after one particularly profitable gain my eyes bulged with dollar signs and I lost all sense of self control). A decade later I have a better sense of self-discipline and cognizant of setting realistic goals and doing proper research, etc. I'm a recent university student again so my time to view the market real time will be limited, but I'm in no rush. I'm looking to take in and learn as much as I can from the other peers and webinars here, along with any other resources I can find before I actually go "live".
Grazie!
PS - if you all want a good laugh, I utilized the "WizeTrade" program during my high school years. I didn't take it as a "cruise control, do all the work for me, I'll get rich quick tool" as I understood its limitations and the reality of the market, but still my parents got duped into buying the program. As much as I tried to use it as a supporting tool my young greedy mind wouldn't let me have realistic goals. I'm sure those of you familiar with it get a good laugh out of those who actually bought into it!
EDIT AGAIN: It seems I have LOTS to learn. I listed NinjaTrader as I HAD to pick an option while registering. My very limited knowledge (it has been over a decade) only recalls ScottTrade & E-Trade as one of the trading platforms. As you can see, I have a long road ahead of me!
