Price Action - HELP!

hi !
i asking for any kind of help. i guess every advanced trader will agree with me that the most basic principle to successfully trading, is the understanding and proper useage of price action. i know a few things about price action, the absolut primitv basic principles but to be completly honest - i have absolutley no clue and the worst thing is - i dont even know where i should start to get some education on it.

i bought al brooks price action book and to me it was/is a complete nightmare. maybe it has to do with that my mothers tounge is not english but i can read and understand most parts of it but still its like reading greek in some sense. i got headache and lost completly interest in it after like 60 pages. i was also going through some threads here on the forum but it is either greek or "wishy-washy" to me. i watched all webinars with al brooks and after that i had nightmares. i went through his page - at least i tried but i couldnt stand it because it was like trying to study greek.

so i am sitting here not knowing where to start. does anyone know a source where i can get a good solid eduction on price action. maybe even on a "6 year old kid" level. also where should i start when studying price action. price action itself is some sort of microcosmos. maybe some german user have good german book recommodations except "das große buch der markttechnik".

this whole situation bothers me extremly but i have absolutly no clue where i should start. to best thing for me would be to have a 30 step education plan where i start studying from the very basics to more sophisticated content. can anyone help me here? any advices? i feel totally lost in a ocean of information somebody please should help to get some ground under my feet.

thx a lot!
wild wishes!

Price Action Swing indicator is a good one to throw on a it and learn. Its number one download for a reason. A work of art by Dorshen.
I dont use the ABC function. NOtice the trend, the DT and DB,the swing volume, swing time etc etc
I would go through the thread about the indicator on this forum...its a long one but worth it.
There is another thread about PA here too.
Best of Luck

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream
I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race, this world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait and all will be revealed

Please use this existing thread to discuss price action as a general topic:

I am closing this thread to prevent a duplicate topic/split topic. If you want to talk about Al Brooks, please do a search, there are several threads.

You can also click the word price action highlighted above to view the Wiki created by users.

Due to time constraints, please do not PM me if your question can be resolved or answered on the forum.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.
