Hi,

I've been trading/researching bonds ZB for a long time.

I intra day swing trade using MultiCharts.

I am interested in waves etc. that define the structure of the market.

Thx,

Phil B

Hello folks, I've been a member of futures.io (formerly BMT)F for a while now, just lurking. I'll probably continue to mostly lurk and absorb as much useful info as possible.

I've been trading for about 3 years. I found my way to trading via poker oddly enough. There seems to be quite a few similarities between trading and poker. Currently I trade part time and work full time from home. Working from home and living on the west coast allows me to trade for about 3 hours each morning before I have to focus on my job. At some point I'd like to trade full time, but I'm in no hurry to take that leap. The freedom of working for myself really appeals to me.

My progression in trading has been exactly the same as it was in poker. In poker I started off as a loser, then improved my game to become a break even player. After further improvement I progressed to a slight winner. Further improvements got me to a solid winning stage and moving up in stakes. Currently in trading I'm between the break even and slight winner stage, but I'm still not seeing the consistent wins over a large enough sample size.

My current trading plan has me intraday trading futures (6E, CL and ZS) and swing trading spot currencies (US dollar crosses). The meat of my trading is the intraday futures trading, with spot currency trading providing beer money.

Howdy Mike !

Just joined Simon's FuturesFX room, and am learning new things. He uses EGAAL's indicator - so looking forward to using that on the 6E !

Hello All, I have been wandering the wastelands of Futures and Forex trading, bouncing from system to system, suffering indicator overload etc.

I am looking at futures.io (formerly BMT) as a home for an aspiring full time trader, and expect to lurk a while longer before making many comments.

Cheers to everyone; especially Big Mike and good fortune to all.

DjH

Hi Everyone,

Stumbled upon this site for the Trader Reviews.

Hope to learn something and be able to steer clear of the less scrupulous programs out there.

Thanks!

Its a pleasure to find this forum with so many knowledgeable traders & programmers, I have been trading stocks & Futures for over 25 years and will certainly enjoy learning from others as well as contributing my ideas on how to become a viable trader in one of the most difficult business you can find .
If beginner traders take this business as they would at taking a 4- 6 year collage course they just might become successful in this endeavor, if you take it lightly then you will be in for a very difficult learning process that will wipe out a trading account or two faster thne you can say jiminey cricket , to the new traders out there you are learning at a time when you have so many advantages in your hands and desk tops to use, such as this web site and many other contributing web sites and mentors at your disposal, you are truly lucky to have all of these amazing tool's at your disposal.
Dont take anything lightly, or anyone for that matter, take your time and study , study and study some more, you have all of the time in the world, the market will be here tomorrow and for the rest of your life time. So dont think that you have to learn what takes a very long time thinking that you have to be a profitable trader in a very short period of time.
I could go on & on but I am not going to bore you with my stories , good Luck and take your time!!
