I am resident in Dublin, Ireland, at the moment. Thanks to Harry for introducing me to this forum. I recently tried Topstep's Combine and traded CL because I was not able to trade the DAX in the Combine. I was keen to be funded but not ready to trade CL. It was an interesting (losing) month with Topstep. I have gone back to trading the DAX via spreadbetting but I keep an eye on CL and love to hear about other member's scalping strategies on CL. I will give the Combine another try when I am better prepared and in the meantime I am enjoying scalping the DAX.

I have been trading for 8 years.

Hi All

I am a full-time trader living in the UK have been a trader since 09 At the moment I am trading NZDUSD on a 2 pip range bar chart. (I also trade DAX Nasdaq FTSE USDJPY etc from time too time)No indicators just short term scalp and swing using PA. I am not trading futures howewer but FX Spread betting for tax reasons in the UK. I am interested in moving into futures trading perhaps using sierra tick charts and would be interested in peoples opinions about the benefits of futures over FX. Hope to make some friends perhaps also

Hi everyone. I am a beginner to Futures trading even though I had tried it a few years ago without success. Back then I had signed up with a company called Shadowtraders that provided weekly training webinars and even though it was a lifetime membership they do not seem to be active anymore hence I am looking for another source of training and help.
The reason why I am coming back to trading again is because I will soon be out of a job and needs to find a source of income to provide for my family. I would appreciate any help that I can get to become successful even if it has to be paid for as long as the price is reasonable. If there is anyone out there who has a proven system that can allow me to make $200 per day I would be interested. Thanks

Hi futures.io forum,

I'm a beginner paper trader working up the experience to try a TST combine, or possibly looking to start grinding in a prop firm.

I'm looking for a mentor to help me avoid driving into the ditch while getting started. Thank you and cheers to Big Mike for such a great community.

Hey Everyone! I'm a 20 year old boy looking for some good ticks ; )))

I've never had an interest in trading (or the stock market) until the last few months. My dad was on his phone trading /CC and /ES. Making several hundred dollars on a lunch break... I want to learn as much as I can by myself, then go to him for the intracacies. I'm just having fun learning the basics of Technical/Fundamental analysis now.

Glad to be here!

My trading is a mix of spread betting on FX and Indexes and also some options trading. I am always keen to learn more about the way markets move.
The spread betting is a mix of intraday and swing trades. The Options trading is looking for expirations 45 to 60 out. I am looking at improving stock scanning to find 'good' charts to look at. I found this site whilst looking for a DPO indicator for NinjaTrader 7. I now have to decide whether to become an Elite member to be able to download the indicator. Anyone else successfully using the DetrendedPriceOscillator V2?

Greetings all,

I am a 35yo father of four and I am totally new to trading. My goal here is to learn; and work my way into trading. I don't know the trade jargon etc... and honestly it seems a bit daunting but, I will be persistent and humble. Thanks.

Hey everyone! I've been studying for 3yrs and blew up my account twice. This is my third attempt and i am surviving the speed bumps. I have studied with TopDogTrading, Trade Empowered, and Joe Baker... I learned a lot from all of them. I follow the TopDog Trading acalping method using 3 time frames. I also own the TopDog Trading indicators and find them helpful for showing MACD divergence and counting waves in the trend. I have also learned a few tips from Michael Guess of TradeSafe. Most helpful piece of information was to make sure that at least 2 out of the 3 time frames have the same trend. My biggest challenge is being objective and mechanical in my methodology.

Hi everyone,

I've been taking my time to learn how to trade for 6months by reading book etc and haven't made much success. I'm thinking of paying the hefty tuition at online trading academy and would appreciate any advice on where to seek indepth knowledge on trading. I look forward to learning more here

Hello everyone,

A great forum here with friendly traders, feels good to be part of it.

I sold into trading in my early twenties but with little to no success.Searched for EDGE in John Grady to Al Brooks, from Jim Dalton to Sam Seiden. My conclusion is,EDGE includes also a part of inside that is often overlooked.

I probably already have an edge in market, but first I've to tame my inside demons. Now working on this.

My next goal is to pass TST evaluation & get funded.I'll soon (after dealing with psychological issues) open a journal here trying to complete with TST criteria.

If all goes well,I want to make my living from trading. It seems like a distant dream, but we'll see about that.In the meantime, contribiting & adding value to this forum with a friendly outlook.

Pardon my bad English.

Happy trading to all.
