I'm retired and like like to make trading as a hobby, happy to find this site almost three years ago but still have nothing to contribute since I have no winning trades as of this year. hope in the future we'll all find our trading god.

I was in the same boat u until I decided that for me to succeed I needed to learn to keep winning not large amounts but something all the time
Basically not loose anymore even if it's small amounts

All this after loosing tons btw

Could be a daily or weekly goal

Might make slow down and focus

Just my 2 cents

Hi, my name is Keith. I divide my time between Denver and Texas. I have been trading mostly futures, mostly e-mini s & p 500, off and on for a number of years. Mostly I scalp; and, mostly I scalp because I find it very difficult to sit through pullbacks, plus I don't seem to be great at picking movement direction. So grabbing a few ticks... I have tried quite a few indicators with little luck, so now I mainly use just the price action itself.
I joined this forum mainly for the webinars and haven't had much time to look around but I have seen some interesting topics here so I plan to explore more thoroughly.
I am in Denver now and would be interested in meeting up with other traders in the area. I'm sure there is a way for us to contact/message each other directly/individually. If anyone knows of any groups etc. please let me know.
That's about it, thanks and successful trading to all.
Keith

Just like some of you I've lost lots of money, but looking to gain it back by reading and learning from other fellow trader blogs and also sharing my experience with my successes and failures in trading.

Hi guys,

I'm so glad to have come across this forum/community. Trading is a lonely career and being part of a community with like minded traders who are positive & holistic makes it easier to move forward. At the moment, I have challenges following my rules and have lost a number of capitals this year. I know my challenges lie between my ears and I am working on it.

I trade DOW30 futures & the major forex spot currencies.

Being part of this community may assist me in improving my psychology and success in trading. I look forward to scanning through the different topics to learn from other traders.

Cheers,
feminaforex

Hi Guys,

I'm Zoom and I am pretty much new to trading. Discovered this forum after I almost signed up for Day Trading Academy and the honest feedback here saved me a lot of dollars. Grateful to the members.

Background...I've studied finance and work in corporate finance. I'm looking to learn a new skill to help supplement my income. I'm interested in emini futures, but from what I've read here most forum members here suggest ETFs for beginners.

Looking forward to meeting you all and if you do have any advise for beginners, please dont hesitate to reach out.

Thanks and Regards,

Zoom

I blew up my account more times than I can remember. I have since reinvented my trading style and systems. I have read more mathematics books lately and I am looking to see what kind of styles people have been employing lately. I get a little stagnant in my bubble and am looking to expand my conversations.

Hello all,

I am a new member interested in getting to know more stuff and share ideas. I am currently trading stocks, with a very limited experience in futures/options that I found very interesting in terms of making money fast and also loosing them fast.

Good Day Every ONE

I am James from South Africa and have been trading for the last fifty years.

I never made a profit until I came across a life changing book written in simple English by Dr Alexander Elder called Trading for a Living. Once I had followed his Triple Screen and Impulse systems I found things improved.

Then I read Phil Town's two books on valuing equities.

At the moment I am working on Volume Profile and Ichimoku analysis for Excel spreadsheet. I would value any assistance that one could give.
