I am new to this form, heard few shows on youtube from BigMike, but seems everything is locked down for a regular user :-) I have background in Software. Good visual interface of trading platform is very important to me. Currently I am using ToS most of the time. I have IB Account but don't like it's interface. Will share more down the road. Thanks.

I've been fascinated by the markets since 1967 when my mom took me to see the ASX. The action in the pit and the noise (even through the glass protecting the gallery) had my full attention.
I wasn't well enough resourced until 2001 to play. I've burned a fair bit of money trying to learn since that time. As a computer scientist, I tried like crazy to get a system going that didn't need frequent changes (now I know how the algo guys at the banks stay permanently employed).
I'm just starting to "get it", using the price action courses from Al Brooks, Lance Beggs and PATs (Mack), but I'm probably still a few years away from being wealthy.
While I rebuild my account, I'll be studying the ES and AUD/USD futures and using demo accounts to practice.

I signed up to Big Mike’s forum about 130 days ago and I haven’t posted anything thus far in this forum because I felt threatened by the variety of platforms, the extreme intelligence and experience of the traders, programmers, and the “Wizards” in this giant community.

I am a middle-aged man living in Finland, with a growing interest in trading.
I first traded german DAX and Nokia options early 2000's, continuing the next 10 years every now and then, mostly losing money, having breaks in between.
Three years ago, 2012, I "restarted" and since then I have tried various techniques with German DAX index, like PSAR, MACD, Bollinger Bands, also direct price action trading from 5 min charts. The financial results for these last 3 years are about break-even, which is actually quite good, considering the numerous stupid faults which I have made...
Spring 2015, for the first time in my life, I downloaded a proper backtest data with Sierra Chart and started constructing a trading methodogy which I have now applied for 6 months, and after some fine-tuning, I now think that I may have something solid with which I can continue for longer time.
I'm a price action futures trader, sticking to a 1-15 minute chart. Look forward to moving forward with my goals, learning and sharing as much as possible. Thanks!

Products: FDAX, TF and some other preferably high volatile markets like CL for example. Volatility YM is ok but tick value too small.
