I'm Nadine, full time mother, part time trader (well sort of I guess as I spend a lot of time trading)
I've been trading for a couple of years on MT4 but with little success. It's been an interesting journey to say the least with hours upon hours of screen time. I switched over to Nt7 last week, and as habit has it been looking to convert my trading strategy from mt4 to NT7. So far it's led me to something even better, and for a whole 2 days I could time my entries with razor perfection and just suck money out of the market like an atm, but for the last couple of days my feed is slow. Anyway, this is me, I learned about data being filtered and as my account is just a demo right now, I decided to get a live, paid feed instead to my NT7 and see what happens.
I'm happy to join this forum family, I believe through sharing our collective knowledge we can achieve great things
Just starting out in this field of endeavour.
A v. Senior lady, but still 'compos mentis', so why not.
Starting a training a/c next week, doing some further reading and trolling around the net to see what is available.
Thanks for the opportunity to read and study other peoples up and downs, we learn from these.
Been lurking for a little while. Not because I'm a value leecher but because there are so many dam forums out there that come up when I make google searches and I've been a part of other forums in the past for all sorts of things. Swing trading type forums, Aussie stock forums etc. But I keep getting re-directed time and time again to come here and seen a lot of useful things or see a lot of topics I have some sort of knowledge which I feel I can contribute to.
I'm a struggling trader but after taking a small break and reading Dr Steenbargers The Daily Trading Coach, and doing the exercises in there daily. I really believe I got a good shot at this now.
So thanks for all the freebies so far, I'll become an elite member soon.
Though I joined a few years back, I was not active as I did some foolish trading and lost all my capital (mid six figures) - I was doing 30 to 40 trades of 10 GC contracts and wiped out my capital.
I am now starting very very small compared to my previous foray.
I hope I have the cajones to continue and ultimately succeed.
Being desperate, I came back to research if I should take the Ace Trades methodology, and what I have read makes me believe I should not.
It would be interesting to hear your story...Sometimes I am trading GC myself and I believe that I can learn from your past. I am also willing to share what I am doing and what changed my trading in a positive outcome.
i am trying to trade from past 9 months but only 2 months were profitable, and previously also i had wiped down my account. my strengths are i am good with exits and patience to let the profit run, weakness is the fear to trigger immediate entry order, but i am working on it. the real problem is i have tried some systems but all of them lose their edge in some time. in backtesting they all were good but in realtime after some time they all suck, and start giving huge drawdowns.
seriously am having second thoughts on if really income is possible via trading.. plz seniors do help me...
