Glad to be in this forum! I'm a newbie and just starting to learn how to trade the ES.
Still trading with a mock account. What I learn is that it is possible to make some bucks but it takes discipline!!
Cheers all!

Hello Mike and everyone here!
Great thanks for this wonderful online board !
I started part-time trading in 2012, several years after I immigrated to United States .
At first I tried trade stocks and than switched almost to Forex as the most dynamic market promising better opportunities.
At my primary work, I am a multidisciplinary Electrical and Embedded SW engineer with over 10 years of experience,
and soon, as well, also become a graduated statistician. Great thanks to trading for pursuing me to dive into
statistical signal processing and apply my previous experience to this exciting field of business
My trades almost rely on fundamental analysis and the small portion of it of it - on stochastic dynamics.
Recently, I decided to try futures contracts as well, and I immersed into studying all things related to this field in details before I can start in order to reduces my chances for losses at the beginning.

Hello fellow traders. I have been a stock investor for income over the past 10 years, but...the dividend stocks are drying up so I have shifted to options. iI have been researching many of the "educational" sites for options trading and trying not to blow my account up with too much information. Getting started my plan is to trade bull calls and see how that works out.

@Big Mike.
I would like to thank you very much for this website.
A lot of resources to learn and a lot of codes to study.
I am a trader in equity markets, forex, options and futures.
However, manual trading is very tiring and a lot of attentions and time consuming.
I began to learn about automated trading such as metatrader 4 EA, now studying C# in order to come up with automated trading program in ninjatrader.
Cheers.

Hello,
I have seen a few of Big Mike's educational videos on Youtube and figured I had to come here and check out his website. I am really hopeful to learn a lot.
I am a beginner at swing trading stocks. In the short time that I have been trading, I can already see that patience will be key. I have also noticed that although I have decided to swing trade (because of time commitments), I always wind up acting as a day trader. Hopefully I can work on these things as I progress.
So far, I can liken this journey to running a marathon. When I tell people that I run marathons, they think, "WOW, how could you possibly do that? I could never do that?" But there is no secret, I get up every morning and put in the work. I started by jogging a mile, then after a few days added another, then another. All of a sudden, one day, you have the confidence that you can make the distance.
I sure hope that the same method can serve me with my trading. I plan to take it one day at a time and try to learn one new thing everyday.
This is the first post to any kind of thread that I have ever made, so thank you for letting me indulge.
Best of luck to everyone.

Hello Big Mike and All,
I'm an beginner at trading. I work full time as a software developer so why not apply logic and hard work to making my own money just as I do at creating software for others? I want to learn as much as I can and contribute as much as I can. This forum looks like a good place to start the journey.
Thanks and good trades to everyone!
