I've been trading futures for about 4 years - while working full time - I've found futures.io (formerly BMT) to be a great resource and I'm anxious to learn more. I now use a 3rd party set of indicators from BBTrades.com which are great. I too, like BM blew out two accounts before I became committed to finding success. Looking forward to associating with others at futures.io (formerly BMT). - Atticus

Bloomberg TV on cable or satellite sometimes has special newscasts about traders who make a living trading. Might be a good place to check out other traders making money, and Youtube has some vids of these shows.

Hi Mike and everyone,

big thanks for what you are doing here. I am sure it can always help a lot - no matter how far you have already progressed in trading.

Hi All,
I would like to thank you all for the very interesting Forum. I am rather new to trading and I am trying hard to pick up as much as possible in as little time as possible (though without being in any rush). Although I have been reading for several months I only started paper trading a month ago. I tried different things but I soon realised that price action is probably the most suitable one for me. I am also looking to find a course not because I believe I will learn something special or secret, not already available for free elsewhere, but mostly because I will find a lot of good concentrated information presented in a structured/ organised way. So I guess I will increase my chances of learning faster. Once I am confident I have a descent strategy and that my plan, journal, risk and money management are in place and working well,...I shall go live .

Hello All,

I've had a passion for futures trading for quite some time but have just recently been able to free up my mornings to trade 4 out of 5 days per week. I'm currently in two trading rooms (traded IT web support for access) but am not seeing that they know anything more than anything else. I am currently using NinjaTrader and treating this endeavor with the same seriousness as my primary company so I have decided not to risk a real dime until I know what I am doing.

Thanks,
Rich

Like most here Cash (myself) has started off trading all over the place and almost every thing after 2 years of loss's . Cash really was mad enough at myself to create change. Cash decided to trade 1 product and try to do it well before moving on.....What Cash found was there was no real reason to move on but, instead just to add size to those trades. And do the same thing over and over again. After 5 or 6 years trading the same market ....Russell 2000 (TF) a lil over a year ago Cash added Crude Oil (CL) to my trading. Just for when equity markets are flat ...Cash can go to something that isn't correlated. ....some times you have to get things into bit size pieces. Meaning my weekly goal is 5K per week but from a daily perspective is only a couple of points a day w/ 4-6 contracts.....

Over the years Cash has mentored over a hundred of traders .....but sad to say only 4 or 5 people got it....Not sure what that is saying??? hehe..... Either Cash is a bad teacher or Cash is picking the wrong traders.

Cash has a few sayings, most borrowed......Get good at the basics, then expand.

Cash likes this Brue Lee quote...to me it says have the patience and wait for that one reoccurring trade
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once. But I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times. "Bruce Lee"

Do the work for yourself, verify for yourself or continue to be a slave to borrowed knowledge and other peoples opinions. It nice to borrow or copy others mythology but some how you need to make it your own . Cash has given to this industry and lately seem a lil burnt.....Trading seems to be a job these days....best of luck to all....Cash.... PS when Cash puts in "I" the post is rejected for self promotion???
