Hello,

I found Big Mike's through a trading room I was in. The moderator did not sell indicators and instead suggested we look for them here at Big Mike's.

So I downloaded all the indicators I thought I might like, found a couple and decided to participate.

I am trading full time after a year of learning and almost blowing out my account. I was in the mortgage biz for 15 years. Made BIG Bank and then got blown out of the water with the housing collapse.

I hate "regular" jobs so I needed to find a way to make a living, be there for my kid and still enjoy life without being a wage slave.

Now I'm a chart slave and I love it! I am still finding my way around the trading community but so far so good. I think I've more or less put in my bottom so to speak in terms of trading and am now looking at beginning to really make a nice living at this crazy thing called trading. Its the hardest thing I've ever done but its also the one thing with the most potential I've ever explored.

Looking forward to the journey.

Been around the horn on educators, spent a ton and have a good toolbox, but have yet to achieve consistent profitability. I do have a system I believe will be immensely profitable but must find a "harder than real" simulator (since I have been burned in the past). Presently use Infinity Sim and it is the best sim I have found, as it is harder than real. Do you know how real NT Sim is (I have read the NT forum posts on it already and it did not look promising). What is your knowledge on this and if it can be set to be harder than real, what would the settings be? Thanks a million, gh

I lost $7500 daytrading. Went back to a demo and gradually devised a method that uses price action and EMA 20 to find a prospect, ADX to confirm trend, MACD to find hidden divergences, and Ichimoku to further confirm trend. It wins on paper. The question is, Can I make money? About to find out.

Hello everyone

I've been 'trading' for 4 years. Lost a bundle over this time, but keep coming back with new ideas. Like a dog with a bone I didn't give up and now have begun to reap some reward trading YM and Z every day, but a long way to go. Glad to share experiences with the rest of the community.

I'm from France and started trading forex a year ago. Demo 6 months and then went live to blow a small account... I now have developped my own trading strategy, nothing fancy but it provides a 'good' guideline. Trading is much harder than expected, and not so rewarding for the moment but i love it.

Hello all, just thought I would drop in and say hi. I use NT to trade with and MultiCharts to research ideas with. Probably will lurk for a while until I catch up on how things are here and then zero in on things that interest me. Mostly interested in in doing research on volume activity at turning points intraday that can be witnessed in real-time from the right hand side of the chart and not at the end of the day like in webinars. Sorry - I don't like Market Profile. Just my opinion.

Hi All,

I strated out by trading stocks several years ago part-time, and quit trading a after taking a big hit about a year after I started trading.

Then, I was back to trading in mid 2008, still taking losses but much smaller scale compare to last time.

Now,I do trade physical gold (kilo bar and fractional size of it ) for medium to long term period.
I'm starting to use Futures contract as a Hedge instrument to my LONG gold position, well I can't SHORT physical gold anyway :P.

Currently, I'm trying to implement the system based on the methodology I use to trade physical gold on YG/GC and Spot gold.

I used to trade TOCOM gold but Stop trading it for the moment becuase the amount of risk I have to tackle on Yen/USD fluctuation.

Any Gold BUG here?

Good trading everyone !
