What is there to say..... I have been trading stocks and stock options since I was 19 - that makes me old enough to remember trading without a plush online platform.
I am fascinated with futures, especially the ES and YM. My trading methodology is summed up in this manner: a little old school and a little new.
I hope to learn from all traders on this forum. Currently, I instruct at a college and I teach my students that, as a collective whole, they know more than me. I truly wish that for everyone on this forum. I am ready to learn.

Quick intro post here as I have just recently discovered the website.
I have solely been trading options and currencies for the last couple of years, with consistency only recently visiting the account. Futures has incredibly fascinated me as of late, and have been trying some breakout range type trades on /ES only. I look forward to reading many hours here, and sharing what little bit of wisdom I have gained along the way.
I have been in the business a spell from floor runner, clerk, desk phone orders, and working for a large local group in all markets with my own 3mo options book. My name is Terry and I am about to be 54 years old. I have blown out a couple of account in my day. I like trading the ES with ninja trader. I also have multicharts. Seems like I always have a bunch of good day trading in a month and then one bad trading day and the bad day takes away from all the good. This is a little about me.
In the past, I blew up my account.
Now I am just a guy on a journey of patience and discipline.
I plan to start a journal here to teach me how to fish (properly).

As the handle says...yes, I'm a dad of 3 boys and 3 girls...so imagine my time limitations
I'm 50 and trying ... slowly to trade...
I've been trading for about 5 years, equities. 3 years on and off via the mini market. I must stand up and say that ... I am not proffitable, and hence have not daytraded traded in a year. Taking a break I guess....waiting for that special time.
I have NT and saw a divergence indicator in the NT forum site. I played with it a little and created D3SpotterV1 in Nov 2009. I had great hopes for it... and now I've created V3 (I just posted it here). There has been a few people interested in it so I've been sending it to them in hopes that it helps them. One gentleman mentioned that it didn't find hidden divergence, will I think V31 will. Take a look and any and all comments are very welcome!
I wish to thank Big Mike's day trading forum and I hope that I can learn and participate in this forum. I have experience in ninja trader and mt4 and I am always looking for better indicators to help me develop into a better trader
