I am from Germany, 41, and had some success with newstrading although not with scalping (only partly with renko). Interested in Options, want to try this later. For now i am starting again with newstrading.

I am an electrical technologist & spent most of my working life at that career. Retired early & started a small business which I have recently wrapped up.

Would like to re-invent myself again as a trader. Have spent the last year mainly paper trading to try and find my style. Have taken a number of educational programs to date, but I am still struggling. Hey if it was easy everyone would be doing it. Currently looking at incorporating volume and order flow into my trading. I am fortunate in that I can devote my full time to trading and education.

Hey fellow marketeers, just joined up after reading the intro and philosphy behind the group and it sounds like a great place to hang. First started trading options with very little success in 08' and did a bit of FOREX thru 09'-10' - 2011 I got back into it with IBD and long term investments, last year some more advanced courses on options and just started day trading. Left the 8-5 grind after 25 years of Industrial Electronics to do this full-time. Not wealthy just yet, but having a great time getting there

Hey jakotai, ghettopips, and all new members,

Im a new member too, and my primary trading is forex cash market and eventually futures. I do use futures volume in tandem with Euro and other currency pairs and hope to continue refining my system as well as grow as a trader.

Big problem for me: psychology ( knowing when to get out, and NOT get back in)

Thanks all, great forum from all the threads Ive browsed so far.

Hi, thank you for a very good forum!
I am an retired engineer, who try to make ends meet through trading the ABC and Gartley patterns.
I am using the Multichart platform and am looking to implement these patterns into my indicators.

Hello,

I have developed a nice system with the following results. (See below) The system looks nice, but I want to code it into tradestation because I did everything by hand. I hired a programmer so I can backtest further and verify everything. The problem is that I don't own tradeststion. I am thinking 2000i, does anyone have a source? I heard you can buy it overseas.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi everyone

My name is Sam.

I'm a 23 year old from North East England.

I am yet to make my first move in trading whatsoever. I want to continue reading and learning before I put anything into action.

this seems like a fantastic forum and I hope I can contribute in some way, shape or form over time.

Will hopefully get to speak to some of you on the boards.

Thanks
Sam

New to BMG but not to trading. Recently switch from TOS to NT for futures trading. TOS is great for options/stocks, but not so much for day trading and anything that requires a stable platform.

Currently working as a software engineer in the security/electronics field.

Looking to trade part-time for the next several years.

Hi all, I've been trading on and off just about all my life but only this past year started with futures. All I can say is wow, what an eye opener.

Trying to learn to read the tape now, having been through the usual indicator route. Along way to go but hopefully I'll get there.
