Hi all! I'm a programmer and started trading with automated strategies about a year ago. I'm currently working on a tutorial about automated trading.

Hey ya'll,

I've been trading about 3 years now, so I'm still very new. I'm very serious about education and finding people that think like I do when it comes to doing something else for money, rather than what we are trained to do by our society and go work for money.

I've had a very small amount of beginner's luck, but mostly have learned from my experiences. My goals are being the best trader I can be by managing risk and creating more discipline in my trading.

I'm looking forward to learn forex and futures, but for now I'm focusing on creating monthly cashflow with options and a long-term stock strategy.

Matt

P.S. Hit me up with anything you have. I'm social!

Hello everyone - well like most people I lost a bunch - sold my business in 99 and got enough to never work again, except I gave the money to a broker who lost most of it for me in 2000. Vowed I'd never let anyone else take care of my money again. I have been attempting to do that since then - sometimes with success - mostly w/o. I'm still at it tho and will make it work.

I swing trade equities and day trade the CL, TF, ES futures. Hoping to fine tune my abilities to make this work for the rest of my retirement.

In my spare time I fly airplanes, do woodworking and play the accordion.

Ed

Hi everyone,
I am new to forum. Been trading full time since 2009. Started as a day trader but switched to swing trading as the market changed. Rely on both technical and fundamental analysis. An info junkie trying to beef up my technical skills. Current primary focus oversold stocks with good fundamentals prime for technical bounce.

Hi All,

I consider myself a "Knew Be" to FOREX trading. ( IE If I KNEW what what others in this forum knew, I'd BE much better off...)

Have been a real estate developer and loan underwriter for 30 years and raise debt and equity capital for commercial transactions. I have structured some pretty complicated deals over the years... But I have to say that trying to figure out which way the candle is going to move with fair certainty is really challenging...and I love it!!!

I live in the mountains in a remote area with internet access, so I really dig sitting in my underwear, looking out my window and making a pip or two...

Paraphrasing Groucho Marx " I would never want to be part of a forum, that would have me as a member"...

But here I think its safe to make an exception and look forward to being part of this great community.

Warmest regards,

Ron

Hi everyone,
I am from Australia but I am currently living in Panama.
Started trading about 5 years ago trading CFDs for a little over a year.
Blew a couple of accounts as I was under-capitilized and didn't really know what I was getting myself into.
Learnt alot but decided to stay away from trading until I could trade with proper capital and once I had tested a strategy that suited my style and was consistently profitable.
Also just needed to get back to the basics and do some research rather than just jump straight in!
Started getting back into trading 6 months ago by reading and developing a system of my own.
I think I have finally developed something that is profitable and that works for me. Only trading demo for the time being and probably for the next 3 years until I get the capital I require!
I decided to narrow my trading down to one market that suits my style.. For me CL is that market.
Trading is a big passion of mine and I would love to improve my trading by participating on this forum.
