Brand new to trading, and still in paper trading mode. This looks like a great source of information, I appreciate your setting it up.

I'm a network engineer by day and paper trader by early morning (the ES is pretty dead at night...)

hi everyone!
im new to trading and quite honestly i don't have the slightest clue what im doing. i guess that's what brought me to this forum. i recently came close to joining traders international and thanks to forums like this ive decided to study and learn as much as i can through books, forums and other methods!! thank god i dodged that bullet!

i guess my first question would be what books are a must read for someone like me! im really interested in forex and s&p mini's! im thinking i would like to day trade a little! but then again im really not sure!... any info for a beginner would be helpful!

Hi Mike and Fellow traders,

I have started the trading in TF a year ago, after attending a course with one of the trader and the way he sold that course and showed us every single trade as a winning trade, made me starting Live trading in a Week's time.
I was so up in the air and rocking that I have learned all trading tactics and secrets required to pump-in CASH, that I Played with 10-lots and Blown my account in 2-Weeks. Now i am left with just enough that i can play with 1-lot with no room for any more looses.
Since then, I haven't done any LIVE trading.
Just searching seeking help and advise of senior and expert traders.
Lately i got a great interest in CL and was searching on google about crude oil trading and came across to Mike's Blog.
I am feeling that i am at the right Place to get a lot of help to start recovery with some trading confidence.
I read through Van Tharp's “Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom”, and would highly recommend this book as this book has given me great insight about trading.
As i am still a newbie in trading and might be asking some very Basic question, I hope to get a great support from Mike and fellow traders.
I got very fascinated with Mike's MTF and other indicators used in his video posted in August 2009.
I am not sure if they are already available for download and if where?
Thanks

Hi Mike and fellow traders,
I just found this forum from google and joined here. I started day trading for forex on a practice account for last two months. I am thinking to open up a live account. Initialy I was doing good, then suddenly I lost everything. That means I have to learn a lot. I am trading based on market trend and RSI. I would like to learn about more tools and strategy. I will share my knowledge also as I learn.

Thanks,
Mahmud

Hello...I am a futures trader and a psychologist. I am still working to consistent personal profitability, and I too have blown out several accounts on my journey. Looking forward to connecting with this community

Hi Mike
Hi fellow traders

I found this forum from google. Seems a nice door to knock and answer.
I am trading for about 10 years now
Started day trading E-minis for 3 years now
Until I've lost what my pride considers a lot.
Yet I haven't lost myself in the process
So my plan is to find simplicity in my trading and win
Looking forward to relating to fellow traders so I will know better my anonymous "enemy"
It called dancing with the enemy...
My 2 cents :
1. Have a PLAN
2. TRADE the f$#$#@##ing PLAN
3. Use Money Management
4. Find your true self and nail him to the ground and ask him "Why on Earth do you trade these markets" . He knows , he will tell you. But first you must find and nail him. That the hardest part.
5. If not yet then you will Go to rule No.1 either you want it or not

Thanks futures.io (formerly BMT) forum

Hello, I am Chris and have joined the Elite group 21 days ago. During those days, I have just roamed around the futures.io (formerly BMT) reading threads that interest me [paying more attention to the mindset side], downloading and testing some indicators on how they may fit into my trading style. Now, with futures.io (formerly BMT), I am ready to rock and roll in refining my methodology. I trade YM at the Open for a couple of hours until about 11 am Eastern time.

Anyhow, I am not sure if the timing is right but I do plan on starting my trading journal here as I refine and trade my method.

I hope to see you all around and I would appreciate your feedback on my journal.

Chris
