Hi all,

My name is Haim.

I join to this wonderful forum in Oct/2011.
Due to time limitation I did not thought that I will participate
but after asking some questions I thought that
it will be the correct way to introduce myself before moving on.

I'm trading for living, meaning, now, trading is my only income and I'm doing this the last 8 years.
Mostly I trade the options of the main Index, here in Israel, which is TA25.
The trades are intraday and the bigger one is building monthly position until options expiration date.
I'm been fascinate by how can we manage the Greek values (Delta, Vega and such)

I joined to this forum because I start to learn how to trade Forex
and to see and work with different trading approach / software / indicators...

Before trading I been Hi-Tech person (software) starting as computers operator
and ending as high management, managing worldwide group and global projects.
It was more than 20 wonderful years which 10 years from them I lived in the US
(Mostly in Dallas, Texas and San Francisco area, California)
And 5 years in Europe (Mostly in Germany and Switzerland)

After the above intensive 15 years I decide to take a year off from work.
During this year I came across by mistake to trading book and immediately
I was very interesting about the idea and the result is that this year off
is continuing until today...

I wish you all the best
and happy trading.

Haim.

Hi all:

I am a new trader looking to avoid as many pitfalls and mistakes as possible. No point in recreating wheels, & etc. This forum appears to be a great way to tap into the wisdom of others and, as such, should be an invaluable asset to the beginner.

So, thanks very much, Big Mike for your creation and thanks, as well, to all of the participants who collectively make it so worthwhile.

I trade futures, primarily the ZB contract. My approach is discretionary rather than mechanical, guided by traditional Technical Analysis. Lately I've been trying to learn as much as I can about Peter Steidlmayer's Market Profile.

My first goal on the forum is to learn enough to be able to pass something of value on to somebody else in the future.

I appreciate greatly the opportunity to join your community.

Best regards to all.

I am new to Big Mike's, and look forward learning, sharing, and growing my skill. :bmt-rocks:

I have been trained in various formats i.e. stocks, options, spreads, etc.., however my favorite is the futures market. Specifically the TF. Also enjoy the ES and YM.

My goal in coming to futures.io (formerly BMT)F is to learn and share, and in the process, take my skills to the next level.

Happy and prosperous trading to all!

Harry

Hi Mike/All

My journey into trading started two years ago when I heard of the "Etoro" site , dabbled abit with forex on Etoro and then progressed onto the MT4 platforms, used many different brokers, FX Pro, alpari, fig fx, dukascopy, etc etc. However, after trading forex mainly EU/USD I discovered that I was only trading against brokers and had no chance of success. The thing that springs to mind on my previous forex journey was the number of scammers that try to get you to buy their product, training, robots etc. Its really difficult for a beginner because you get caught up with all the majic indicators etc. One thing that still makes me smile is when I purchased a "scalping automated robot" and it actually worked by mistake. Baically, I was playing about with the robot on a live account late on a friday night and the market closed and the robot made a bizare "short" buy on the EU/USD, the market dropped over the weekend and made me a small fortune ha!. only paid $30 for the robot. I finished with forex 12 months ago due to changing spread prices, suspicious spikes etc.
Started to looks for something other than fx and saw a guy on you tube called the "dow scalper" ,wasnt really interested in what he was trying to sell, I just became interested in futures and continued to research for past 12 months and using demo account. Still learning and not ready to go live for at least another 12 months. Started to gain success by using market delta footprints etc and understanding basic 1 min and 10 min charts etc.
I will never return to FX and will continue the future with the futures.
Great forum.

Gazz

Hi everyone,

I've been trading in a bank for more than 14 years now. My group is doing Fixed Income proprietary based on macro and fundamentals. I did 10 years in Paris and I'm finishing 5 years in NY City in a french bank. Yes I'm french !

I've decided to start my own business this summer when I will relocate to France. I'll focus on day trading in ES.

I realize that after almost 15 years in a bank trading, I don't really know how to properly trade !! Maybe because day trading and macro strategies are different, but not only. I never learned to have a proper mindset to be a consistent profitable trader, like dealing with my ego for example...

I'm sure the ressources here will help me to find the correct balance between ambition and survival.

See you soon

Fabien

Hi all,

I began my trading mostly futures from last summer. Currently I am trying to start my day tradings with automated strategy, e.g. with NinjaTrader. I came to this community by web searching for training materials of ninjascript developments.

Thanks a lot for the help resources, esp. the webseminars, and hope all of us become more and more successful by trading.
