Hey Everyone, Great Traders Alike ,
I just joined early in December and I missed the webinar by Manesh Patel discussing the IchiMoku Cloud
strategy(-ies)- until today !!
I went over this webinar several times and I think many traders are going to benefit by this
presentation for several reasons:
1- the could be the only indicator setup you may ever need, and / or
2- this will help educate many on the advantages of reducing the number
of indicators you think you need.
All the Best to the Traders who have a strategy and then follow it !!
Cheers,
G.

First of words.....Thank You.
I joined the forum this year and had passed countless hours reading and learning.
My name is Christian and I am a novice trader from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
I have been studying for just a year and my previous attempts to trade with real money on the futures market had put me on the red.
All the study for the last months had filled all the gaps that you only see when you study.
I am actually trying to trade with Perry's method but still I need more consistency to go live. Tried CJ Booth, excellent, but cannot afford the indicators due to the fact that I burned my account couple of times already.
Love the forum and feel the deepest gratitude for Mike and all the ppl like Perry, Sharky, fat tails, Erez, CJ Booth, The Wizzard, just to mention a few that with their inmense generosity try to share and educate us, the newbbie retailers.
Actually laid off from the construction industry I have had the time to study and trade although experiencing some hardships.
I live in the suburbs west of Fort Lauderdale, lots of green, tranquility and huge areas to walk with my rescued dogs.
Best of the year to come for this community.

After studying stocks fundamentals and technicals for last 6 months, I have decided to open an acct and start trading. Resigning from my job 2 yrs ago I thought it would be easy to get new one..but it has not been. So I thought stock trading might help me make some money to support my family (4 kids). I am not day trader. I still have long way before I go day trading. I just started with small amount to learn and see how things will go. I wish myself and all members a good luck. We do need to support each other and share all good ideas ..if possible to minimize our losses and maximize profits ..thank you all

Hello Everyone –

I’ve been a hermit trader for quite a while, but am now joining BigMikeTrading forums to change that. I’d love to connect with any other full time ES traders. I mainly trade gaps and opening range trades. I’d love to hear from anyone else trading the same types of systems with the eminis. I’m also trying to find a ES scalping system that’s consistent & might have longevity.

I’m on the US east coast, been trading for eons, and am ready to connect with other traders with similar styles.

All

I'm a beginner, with day job, I have dabbled a little in trading, however I am much more determined to do it properly now. Im new to forums etc, hoping to integrate into the group over time, and share my knowledge/experience as I gain it. I have studied the Technical Analysis side ad nausium, read a few books, now trading on NT demo till I get into swing of things. Trading is a hobby and a passion. Very interested in developing great money management skills.

Thanks Big Mike, thanks all, may 2012 be prosperous!

DS

Aloha fellow traders,

I am a West Coast mom who is looking to make income by trading early in the day, leaving the meat of the day for housework/taking care of my ailing parents/picking up kids - family stuff. So far I've focussed on shorting pennystocks, under the tutelage of Tim Sykes. That is a strategy which really works well, and now I am looking to add one more strategy. I am in search of my own individual strategy - ideally something which I can be done with by 12 pm (9am EST) - a strategy for trading off the open. Am reading Al Brooks' price action books, which seem excellent.

My background is art and graphic design, which translates surprisingly well for stocks, as I can find patterns easily on charts - as long as I maintain consistency! you cannot train your eyes to see things when you keep changing the context with different indicators, etc. I'm currently keeping chart super simple - 5 minute daily, 12 day ema, that's it.

My account took a few hits recently when I made bad decisions, trading under severe emotional pressure - I supervise the care of two very ill parents and must remember I am not superwoman, and cannot trade when I have a lot to do for them.
