Hi All

Just found your website yesterday and enjoying what I am reading.

Just started trading E-mini, but realising "scalping" is a deadly game. Just a beginner!!

It seems that we need to be told over and over. Trade with the trend.

Anyway, I am Gil from Queensland Australia and glad to be part of this forum.

Intrigued by the Bollinger and HMA divergence. Is there a colored SMA that changes with direction?

Thanks

Gil

Hi guys. Looking forwrd to this participating in this professsionally run forum.
I am a pro trader (forex and index futures) and thrive on exchanging trading ideas and research. I have employed a strictly quantitative, objective trading approach and this since 20 (!) years, hence my nickname, firstquant.
good trading to you all!

Hi Mike,

Thank you! I'm glad to be here and be a part of this forum.

I am a trader from Thailand.

I have bought several books, systems and so far been disappointed.

Hope to learn a lot and contribute something to this forum.

I am trading student and at a very infant stage too. I find this forum very useful and I am overwhelmed by the fact that traders help out each other in honing each other skills. I am glad to be a part of this forum. I am not a programmer but I promise to give back to this forum as much if not more than what I have got from here.

Thanks everyone especially Mike for creating such a platform.

eOne.

Hi all,
Let me begin by thanking Mike for allowing me to join and participate in his forum.
About myself,
I started in the futures business in the late 70’s as a clerk on the grain floor of the CBOT. Since than, I have gone through many accounts and many experiences. Many times I find myself saying I know everything you need to know about trading and I always find myself learning something new. I would never consider myself a Master or even remotely close to one. I am presently not trading as much only because I had recently moved to the west coast and I am dealing with a time zone issue and a whole house renovation. I hope to provide some fresh insights as well as to learn something new from this site.
My trading preferences are the indexes and the currencies.
Charts! I have always preferred Metastock charts and my trading platform is CQG. Since I moved west and not trading as much I have decided to dump Metastock and use Ninja for charts and CQG for execution. I am Happy about the switch to Ninja and I am hoping to get some help with programming in some of my old expert alerts that I had custom developed in Metastock.

Hi All !

Started in 2000, was a disappointment, and now came back and started anew. Life is very tricky

Hi All,

Looks like this forum could be a great and personalised site for traders to help one-another. I'm particularly interested in data and learning about ninja script.

I've worked for the SFE (Sydney Futures Exchange) for many years, JPMorgan etc in Risk Managment roles and also in retail stockbroking. Have been sim trading and dabbling for many years but have finally gone full time recently. Thankfully I'm a disciplined guy with good money managment, but the proof will be in the pudding over the next few months!

Regards,

simon aka waverider

Hi All,

It is nice to see you all here. It is also very nice to see some traders from Australia. I am trading from Melbourne. I have a bit of expirience in manual trading and now am trying to automate myself. Thank you for your great help !

John.
