I feel lucky to find this forum.

Although, I have not explored the forums in detail,
I personally feel there are tons of awesome stuffs stored in this BIG MIKE's forum.
Hopefully, I can also contribute in my own tiny way back to this community.
1) Firstly, STOP -- STOP -- STOP all LIVE account trading immediately.
2) Do DEMO account trading exclusively UNTIL you can generate 200% profit per month for 3 months in a row via minimum 100+ transactions. (Eliminating random luck)
The logic is -- if one can generate 200% profit consistently per month for 3 months, then one can surely able to generate 50% profit per month consistently.
3) Suggestion: Why not join some nice & solid trading contest such as those that comes with a real prize money using a demo account??
In order not to promote anything, please PM me if you want to know how.
4) Do < read & re-read & re-READ > again the <Trading in the Zone> book by Mark Douglas
as suggested by Jeff Harbin.
5) Create a custom made all encompassing Trading Plan that suit you to a tee.
6) That's all you need.
At this moment, I am fighting the same battle as you are.
It is extremely hard to fight the devil urge of self-destruction as in <I know already and I am just lazy>.

Joining this forum for approximately one week I forgot to introduce my self very briefly. I am originally from germany and working as an independent trader since 2008. Trading the derivaties markets on an intraday basis is a very demanding challenge in an ever changing environment, thus sometimes I think that I am still standing at the beginning more or less. I started up with FX spot and CFD´s on chash index markets , switched over to futures one year ago using NT with ZF. My Trading itself concentrates basically on the following markets- FDAX, ES, FGBL, ZN, 6E, 6B.
I like the friendly environment and the cooperative tone in this forum and I hope to be able to give as much qualified information to the community as I am taking out of it.
It will take some time in addition until I get a full command of all forum features so please apologize if somethings goes a litle wrong in the beginning .
I'm a industrial engineer, I've started studying the world of trading a few months ago and I hope to trade with real money soon. This forum is amazing and I'll try to contribute to it (even with my poor english). See you.
