Hi,
I am new to trading but believe to have what it is needed to become a fulltime daytrader. I like the idea of being the only responsible for my faith. I hope my programming background will help and am spending a lot of time on learning and making stats.
Thanks to Big Mike for this forum.
W.

Hello Traders,
Started trading Options about 4 years ago, currently transitioning over to Futures, E-Mini Russell and E-Mini S&P specifically. I consider my self a novice but with intermediate knowledge. I hope to get some insight in ATS(money making machine). Stay thirsty my friends!

New here and being a computer klutz, I have a lot of issues with how the thread works. Anyway, I started day trading futures about 8 years ago. Originally using NexGen software. I was never very successful and blew out a few accounts.

Have been stumbling since then. Currently I use Ninja and EOT software. I can do real well on sim, but not so great trading live.

I have explored many different methods, including Gann and Murrey, but find them both to be unintelligible. Currently I am looking at Daniel Code software and Felton.

Would be interested in hearing from others who have tried these

Joe M

Thank you Mike for the kind welcome to your site.

I am about a year into trading part time, with a fairly big hole in my pocket. I am still managing the emotional side to trading but I can see the light at the end of this tunnel. My aim is to generate an income from trading so that I can retire and spend more time with my family.

Being part of your community, I hope will allow me to see other perspectives to trading.

Hope you all had a great Easter holidays!!

Regards

Hi everyone,

I have been an unsuccessful trader, bouncing around on ideas and making poor, emotional choices, and loosing money. I hope to learn how to trade successfully before my nerves are shot and my monies gone! My only exposure has been with Family members who used buy-n-hold investing decades ago. I'm 53, and work a full time job as a toolmaker/designer. I feel swing trading may be a good choice for me...something I can perhaps check on a few times a day. Hope to hear your stories and share experiences...good and bad!
best regards,
Ken
