Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Intro

Hi All , I have been trading a live account for about a year now. I have tried Daytrade to win, Viper trading systems and now have been with Protrading course for 6mos now. I trade all the futures everyday from 6am to 1pm westcoast time. Like most everybody I have been very fustrated , but I think my learning curve is improving once I realized there is no holly grail indicator. I now concentrate on intraday trend trading with no indicators and have been having some success.

Newbie

What a great site! I feel lucky to have stumbled across it. I'm new to futures trading and a bit frustrated. What works well one day does not the next. I wonder if anyone else has this experience. I'm here to learn how to stay in trends beyond cautiously trailing a stop. I have had some experience with Elliott Wave but I would like to increase accuracy and learn how to capture more of a trend. Ok, I think I just repeated myself. Anyway, I look forward to exploring this site.

Introduction

Futures Edge on FIO

Are you a NinjaTrader user?

I discovered this forum and have found it quite helpful. I have been trading for a long time but not very successfully. I just started using the TsSuperTrend indicator and would like to have the voice alert that I heard while watching one of BigMike's video. Hoping someone can tell me how to get and apply the voice alert.

Hi Mike,
Glad to be part of your forum. I noticed your blog on Murrey Math Lines including your video. You mentioned that you got the indicator from EOT. Do you need to be a subscriber with EOT in order to get the Murrey Math indicator or do you have this version posted on your forum? Is this indicator available for purchase separately.
Thanks for your help,
Lars

Check the Murrey Math thread. There are free indicators.

Need help?
1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first.
2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses.
3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make.
4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance.
5) Where to start as a trader? Watch this webinar and read this thread for hundreds of questions and answers.

I posted an intro yesterday, but here we go again. I work full time and also trade fulltime, like alot of you trying to make the transition to full time trading for a living. I have been trading with a live account for about a year now and have tried a couple "trading courses"
I now trade with Protrading course an have learned a lot. I now longer use any indicators, and only trade intraday trend trading. I hope I can learn some things and maybe share some of my experience as well.

I posted an introduction yesterday, but can't find it now.

It's safe and sound just a few posts back:
