And that technique
Is of no avail.

Thank you to Big Mike for hosting this awesome website! I am a seasoned trader, lost a bunch of money over the years and still have not found success after 30 plus years. Sure I have had some wonderful trades but overall I just suck at trading.

About two years ago I went through another "life event" and decided to move to the family cabin in the mountains. The overall plan was to figure out this "madness" we know as trading. So peace and quiet, a UPS with several computers and a fiber-optic booster station very close by I continue the challenge.

I could list all the books. courses, classes, platforms, strategies and brokers I have read. taken or used but it would only suggest that I am getting old. Any and all help, assistance or guidance would be appreciated as I humbly must state that failure is not an option.

I have been sim day trading the E-mini NQ due to another course I took where the "experienced" instructor gave all the reasons why this was the best instrument to trade, which I do agree. Frankly this market is a beast and when the bots rage it's chaos. IMHO when the volatility is extreme here it is elsewhere so it appears.

I am looking forward to getting to know everyone that wishes to share and participate in a healthy and helpful comradery.

Respectively,
Brian

Hey everyone,

I pretty new to futures and stocks. Slowly learning. Started account over the summer with some knowledge, blew through 50% of the account. I realized I don't know anything and was very humble.

Heads up I am sorry if I ask a lot of question.

Hi Alex. Why did you pick the Bob Vollman system as your approach?

Hi deiphage!
Excuse me for the delay in the answer. I`m glad to talk about choises.

My first introduction in PA was Al Broks. His working mode is very fast-thinking and when I was on the screen, I use to miss details that make me take bad entries.
In the lecture of Bob Volman i find a clearer exposition of the hotspot. And he try to teach a way to trade certainly, with reasonable self confidence in the desition.
Anyway there are a hard time to be consistent with his system, but I feel comfortable with it.

Let's rock

Have you tried fixed income or monthly dividend/quarterly dividend stocks instead of futures?

Hi traders

I'm new to the forum and thought I would quickly introduce myself.

I have been trading for about 3 years+ in the FX market and have recently made the decision to trade futures.

Been using NT8 for trading futures and my main instrument is WTI crude oil.

Looking forward to learn from this community.

Cheers

Hey,
Introducing myself here. 22 from Germany, still a student at University.
Made some good gains in the crypto market and looking forward to trading futures in the traditional market.
I know the basics of Technical Analysis (s/r, trend lines, canals, fibs, and all that basic stuff from babypips). Never managed to trade profitable in the long term on forex (CFDs). However, I'd like to dive into the world of futures now (FDAX specifically). Just ordered the Price Action Book from Bob Volman. Also interested in the Order Flow Analysis. Probably not dumb to combine both!.

Let's go!
