Hi everyone. I am totally new at this and decided I needed all the help I could get with my TOS platform. Currently, I do options trading and really but I feel I'm just guessing. So I decided I need to figure it out if I wanted to make this a profitable venture. I want to know how to make the most of the platform and my investment dollars. Recently, I ran across Fibonacci and scripts to automate the process. Now I'm learning its importance and how to use it. I want to learn how to customize the scripts, making them easier for myself. If you have any tips, please send them my way. Happy Trading everyone.

Thanks for the add. I use my own indicators. There can be five or six of them. Even tea leaves is ok (seventh indicator) if it worked for me. Sometimes I will maybe rely on 4th indicator when there is not much to go on in my first few indicators. That can be very confusing for others who may try to understand me because I might make few bone head mistakes and other times I am within pin point precision.
By the way I am also looking for a free trading platform without any trial period. I used to use mock trading but now the site has gone offline. Happy trading everyone.

Hi All,

I've been trading stocks for several years now with relative success; just over a year ago I began to trade derivatives, specifically e-mini S&P futures. It's been a rough start, blowing up my account a few times, but I'm still learning and developing my strategies.

I always trade with the trend and aim for a few ticks per trade; I'm excited to utilize the resources that are offered by this forum, as well as contribute my own ideas.

I hope to share ideas with you all on the fourm.

Happy Hunting-
Evan

Hi Evan,

I trade e-mini ES Futures using Market Profile (MP) and Order Flow (OF). You will see information that is not available on Charts and Indicators. If you use MP and OF then great - if not, I suggest you review the following:

Market Profile: https://jimdaltontrading.com/
Order Flow: https://www.jigsawtrading.com/

And check out youtube for free webinars on Jim Dalton and Jigsaw Trading

All the best

Hey all,
I'm a complete beginner just starting out with the basics of trading.
I first became interested in trading after watching videos about Tim Sykes and others with similar stories. Not sure what I believe at this point. Regardless, it does make you wonder if it's really possible...
I prefer not to put my money into these trading courses. I'm hoping I can learn what I need from fellow traders here and maybe get to the point where I can help future newbies.

Hello, my main areas of focus are on analyzing sentiment in the market through Elliott Waves. I'm very new to this I primarily focus in my personal portfolio on income stocks and funds. As well always looking for good entry points in penny stocks. Made a bundle on $CDNA jumped in at around $5 rode the waves through $20 before figuring it was a good time to jump out.

Robin hood has comission free trades. And after hours access. Also options trading and crypto trading all free.

I知 certainly a beginner! My trading this far has been in practice through my platforms simulators. I致e spent sometime studying the forefathers of trading and now I知 putting into practice with mixed results! I want and wish to learn more in the futures area! I just completed two books by Kelly Angle which I found very interesting! I知 currently reading Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas and Trading Mindfully by Gary Dayton, PSY.D., but interesting especially Trading Mindfully!

Anyhow, I hope to learn and become a better trader given time!

Thanks,

Check out some books on Elliott wave too they are very helpful in looking forward when a price begins to trade outside of fundamentals
