See you in the market!

Hello All,

I have been trying out NinjaTrader 8 for about 6 weeks. Been getting kicked to the curb and needing some help so I stumbled onto this forum and want to learn how to code some things. Don't know what to code yet but hey, it looks fun... Don't know if it will help with the boot but maybe I can get the boot to soften up a bit....

Hello Everyone,

Just thought I would do a shout out to everyone to introduce myself.

I am from peaceful land of Canada and I have been trading since 5 years now.My journey became with binary options and with a mindset of get rich quick( I know I know). But fortunately I was lucky enough to make all the right steps and never been scammed or anything by anyone specially a broker lol.

Binary options went well to be honest but then I had hard time finding a broker who would actually pay you because the money is eventually coming out of their pocket in binary options so I have had several accounts suspended and then I decided to move on.

Next was............obviously spot forex , which I still trade. Have had ok success but still can not say I am successful in that.

Now I am trying futures, specially Oil and so far its going good.

I am here to learn and contribute to community in any way possible.

Thank you

Sunny

Hi,

My story may sound familar to anyone with software development background.

I'm an experienced software engineer with 20+ years in the market, mostly trading my own products. Unemployeable since 2003, when I launched my first successful venture.

I came into the market with an idea of becoming a consistently profitable trader in few weeks, then develop some tools for personal use which may become great products over time. But I soon found that I can't be a trader and a software developer at the same time. Trading is about earning screen time but I always missed every hour without coding.

I almost gave up, when I got support from active traders I met along the way. The solution was to focus on what I'm good at. Not trying to become a trader but rather developing products for other traders. It seems like a failure but it was the answer for me personally.

I'm still at the beginning of the journey, my first product (Forex Simulator) isn't perfect yet but it's evolving really fast. I hope to make it the best product on the market in the next 3-6 months.

I came here to learn from successful traders, to help them make their work more effective, profitable and fun. It will be great to get any feedback: ideas, suggestions, feature requests and bug reports.

I can also help others who are following the same route. With my 20+ years in software business there is a lot to share.

PS: Don't expect me to blatantly promote my products. I'm here to learn and make connections, not to get lousy few clicks before getting banned

Hello everyone, for years I was a discretionary trader but in recent months I started studying Easylanguage and to create my automatic strategies.
I do Futures and Forex trading.
Within the limits of my knowledge I want to contribute with my help to the community and at the same time I hope to be supported in my shortcomings.

Thank You
fepra

hi there! I'm excited to join the community

Enjoy, Good guys here with much knowledge. I am retired to the Philippines so I am not always online when everyone else is.
Connections are good in the city I am in and I trade the Asian, Euro and early US markets.
Listen to the hard asses as they may not be politically correct but they know their shit.
I don't post much, just read and add when I feel I need to.
Elite Trader is another good forum and Trader laboratory can be interesting but not much going on there.
Enjoy, take advantage of the videos and lessons offered and the advice of those who know more the yourself. It pays off. I do fine, keep most things to myself and ask for assistance when needed.
MM
