Retirement is around the corner and 401K's managed by conglomerates is disappointing. I'm hoping to learn how to manage my own money and make a modest income. I am fascinated and scared as well. I have family trading futures and feel left behind. I love forums and hope top learn from the best.

Hi all,
First of all, I would like to greet Mike for the good idea and for striving to maintain a constructive environment. I just been checking a few posts and threads and enjoyed very much what I have seen so far. Will join the community as non-Elite member for now and try to explore a bit more before, but the feeling is good so far.
As an intro note about myself, I am a novice trader. I have started trading randomly last year, mainly in commodities and then discovered FX and stocks. I diversify a bit along the three categories and consider I am still on very early stages of the knowledge needed to be a consistent trader. I am trading with small amounts to limit risk and learn in real environment as I feel sim accounts do not give you the needed buzz.
I am still looking to "find my strategy" (or multiple strategies). So far I mix fundamental (news and correlation) with pure price action. So, I am looking forward to learn and, when I feel possible and useful for others, contribute and share my own experience as it unfolds.

I've been trading since 2005. Forex, stocks. Switched to futures in 2012 and I'm happy with them, however I have not given up stocks trading completely. Now I added major cryptocurrencies to my arsenal.
Being graduated as a programmer, I use my programming skills hard.
Good to find this forum. I have struggled and lost a lot of money trading options and futures. I知 working at getting funded with topstep. I agree the hardest part is within and that is the only way to succeed.
I知 looking forward to sharing here and learning from successful and the not so successful here. We are all in I together. I trade ES and CL. After so much failure I知 working on learning when not to trade.
Seems the best traders know how to not lose!
