Hi Mike! Your website is a benediction in the Trading World. I made some money in the Stock Market 5 years ago, but I switched to Forex and Mini S&P fortunately on Demo accounts and lost every year... experiencing 40/60 brokers. Everyone is a nightmare, but today I'm with Global Prime... why not? After 5 years of experiencing I'm on a standby... not losing not winning! As you can imagine, I'm fade up! Could you help me getting out of the smog? Many thanks in advance.Jean-Pierre

Hi, everyone

After browsing the threads for a while and seen the immense value and respect Mike and everyone have embodied in this site, I had to join.

I am a trader of many years, shares, options and forex. I swing trade forex at the moment and am looking at the futures world to see what it has to offer. The amount of time I can spend trading depends on my workload in my business. Done some day trading when I had the time and enjoyed it.

I started trading options using eod data from teletext and drawing my charts using graph paper and a pencil. Now most traders would find that amusing, it was a good grounding in charting and understanding the markets.

Now I want to look at the world of futures and decide whether I want to trade them so I am a complete newbie and looking to learn and interact with the community.

Hi All,

I'm Grant from London, England. I trade Spot FOREX from my home based business. I use Line studies, Fibos, RSI and harmonics patterns.

Nice to be here.

Hello everyone. My name is Eliott and I am migrating from MT4 to Ninjatrader. The most challenging thing is learning the new platform. I do like the fact that one must know the difference between stop/limit orders (if all one has is the free direct licence for live trading). I am demoing on Forex right now but I have my eyes on the futures market.

I have been trading a little over three years with minimal success. The main issue in my trading is following the plan and sticking with it. Also patience is a big challenge for me. I look forward to learning and growing here.

Hi everyone, i'm Juan Pablo from Colombia. I'm a total newbie in this world of trading, can anyone suggest me how to start? ¿and how to be profitable (1k-3k month)? ¿this can be possible with trading? ¿There is a post ordered for people who wants to trade in E-mini S&P500?

Hi,

my name is daniel and i'm from germany. I started being interested in derivatives ca. 2 years ago and i think, i did the same mistakes that many beginners do: looking for best indicator. So i opened a demo- account at IG- markets (bucketshop, i know....) and tried indicator a, b, c.. After some research i got the conclusion that indicators can't work in the long run and that it is more promising to study price- action. In the last 3 months i read some al brooks literature. It' definitively not easy to read, but i think it gives some good insights.

Big Thanks goes to "mastercraft29", his thread ist very useful.

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, but not new to trading. That being said i will never be done learning.

I am looking forward to consulting with all of you in the future!

Patience is the key!

Respectfully,

I have been trading Forex for many years, all of them unsuccessful. Why I still continue I don't know as I am but one of the many losers in this market.
Yet, I believe there is a way, and hopefully it is here.
