Hi Guys,

New to the room, just wanted to introduce myself.

I've been trading Futures for quite a while - CL, ES, YM, NQ ... And found this forum looking for help with C# for NinjaTrader.

I am not a superPRO C# Programmer but know a little bit, and I've been trying to get my strategy working but don't know all the stuff and classes, and so on with NinjaTrader.

I hope this forum will help me with some stuff,

Hello All,

I'm relatively a beginner, dabbled in stocks the past few years and am starting to take on the futures markets as I found I prefer short term trading. I use X_Trader, basically exclusively use the DOM, charts occasionally, and am starting to develop some things in ADL and really enjoying that.
Hoping to learn more here, and meet others in this lovely but lonesome profession.

Hi Guys

Discovered this forum while on utube and saw Big Mike mentioned quite often so thought I would check it out,I`ve been trading for about 9 years with a moderate degree of success, started with futures then moved to forex. The reason I am looking at futures is because I want to utilise the orderflow footprint of the 6E to trade the spot Euro so if anyone can point me in that direction to it would be appreciated,I`m about to start trolling the site looking for that info.I would also appreciate any link/feedback on this forum to traders using NOFT,Jigsaw,Bookmap,Auction dashboard,Goldenzone trading ect. These products are expensive and I`m trying to get feedback and opinions from traders who are actually using it before I commit to one of them

Look forward to being a part of this wonderful community, have seen some awsome vids so far

Hi Guys, Mike!

I am Dobri Zhekov nicknamed "Insider78. I can describe myself most like a day trader. My strategies are part scalping, part swing trading. My "trading journey" started in 2006 with some trading books which was the missing ignition in my story. By the way i like to scalp on a 5 min - waiting for the next good swing. After my family the trading is my live and passion. I like All Brooks scalping metods and Linda Rashke swing strategies. I use two stands with eight 24"monitors. Gaming pc with 8G RAM and videocard with 6 display ports. And have another pc for the last two displays. I want to learn more about the futures e-mini trading and which ECN (DMA) brokers, platforms, (commissions, fees) are suitable, appropriate for day trading style with those instruments.

I am glad to have a chance to learn from your trading experience and one more time - Thanks for your invitation here!

Best regards:
Dobri Zhekov

I first started day trading after joining a trading group 4 months ago...long enough to blow up my account a couple times. Ouch! I stopped trading live money and am hoping to start trading again, with more confidence and discipline, once I've learned and simmed more. I'm grateful to the good folks at NinjaTrader who directed me to this forum. It feels like I've found a comfortable home where I hope to nurture my trading skills.

Happy trading!

Hi All,

Ivan here. I'm brand new to trading. Starting in April 2016 I started trading stocks. I did this with a very small account and a tiny risk limit (goal was for 1R = $20). I was looking to see if I would be overwhelmed by the emotions of trading. While I did get a new experience with emotions, I did not find myself being overwhelmed. From that experience I decided I want to dive further into trading.

At present, I have stopped actively trading so I can save more funds to increase my account balance. Once I hit an acceptable threshold I'm going to delve into futures using market / volume profile.

Between now and then I will be doing the following:

- working on psychological / emotion issues
- educating myself more on volume / market profile
- switching brokers
- switching and learning new platform

My goals in joining this group are:

- sharing any useful knowledge or information that I run across
- finding like minded individuals
- finding individuals traveling down the same path as me
- gleaning what knowledge I can from others to improve myself and my trading

My priorities in life are my faith, family, and learning to become a trader.

I look forward to sharing any knowledge or experience I possess that could help anyone else out.

Good luck.

And good trading.
