I studied economics in university and traded warrants in my youth but for the last several years I worked as a wealth manager, leaving the trading to others. A few clients now asked me that I act as their portfolio manager so I'm trying to get closer to the markets.
My knowledge about futures is strictly theoretical at this point, and not my main point of interest. The main reason I even came accross futures.io is because of some great info I found here with regards to trading software.
Anyway, glad to join, see you around in the forums!
I am retired and have been trading options on equities and indexes for a couple of years. I have recently been attracted to futures. I have two trading accounts - an IRA and a margin account. I would like to trade longer term futures positions in my margin account and scalp trades in the IRA account (since I cannot trade options on futures in this account).
I am especially interested in any tips that I can find regarding scalping. Most of my early successful scalps seem to involve a healthy portion of good luck. Eventually I would like to interest my 4 grandsons in trading if I cultivate more skill. I want to show them a better strategy than "hope"!
Im from Trinidad and Tobago. There aren't a lot of ppl around me who do this sort of stuff. So I came across this awesome site and decided to give it ago. I'm fairly new to trading. I've been paper trading and educating myself along the way. also i hope to gain an insight and understand how other traders think and to improve my overall discipline as a trader.
I understand that their are lots of ppl who trade for a living and my wife and i hope to provide a better life for our three kids by doing the same.I join this community hoping to provide as much as i have to offer,in high hopes, others did the same.
So to all fellow traders hard work and determination shall grant us this path to a higher understanding.
And by gaining that we give ourselves the right To WILL for anything.
