I've been looking at the forum back when big mike introduce murrey math.
I live in Japan but I'm not Japanese.
I started trading forex a year ago than realise than it's not the best environment to trade,
Got caught in the hype.
Now I'm still learning futures and really start to like it.
I'm planning on trading the lower time frame because I have a work and trade after at night.
This forum is really good with genuine people helping each other.
So thank you and good trading.
Hi, Does anyone know of an indicator that will flatten the entire Ninja Trader account when reaching a specific profit or loss target for the day. I have one that will flatten the chart, but looking for an overall indicator that will close the platform totally when reaching a specific goal. Thanks
Weasel here, I have been lurking around for quite some time don't generally post on sites but this one appears to have some respectful people & would like to join in.
I mainly trade mini-nq & sometimes cl. The platform I am using is Trade Navigator it seems to suit me well. I have been trading on & off for some years now as work time allows. Maybe will start a journal as I would like some input on some of my entry signals for the most part they are fine but could be better.
The following user says Thank You to weasel1 for this post:
For the past 2 and a half years I have been interested in day trading. I have researched the internet looking for ideas and strategies and listening to different peoples spills. It is hard to find good information that is trustworthy. It seems more people make money selling fake ideas to people than actually trading in the markets. I started trading a demo account and through this time period and have progressively gotten better each time to the point that I started trading live. Wow what a difference between paper and real money. On top of that you have your emotions playing out that I did not expect would be tough to watch your account go red which I saw before but when it is your money you respond totally different. After my first week of trading I was down but learned many lessons. I have found using a 4 point stop on emini's kept me in the safe zone when trades would go against me but would come back into my favor, I have to place my trade and walk away and hope I made the right decision because watching the ups and downs pulls on my emotions too much, and the most important is that I do not have a good trading plan! I believe my risk to reward is out of proportion and see that learning to read price action is important and doing away with indicators until I can read and feel out the market. That is why I am here to see if I can learn this information from this blog and not have to spend thousands on trading academy's that do not produce but learn from real people that help each other to get better at their dream and that dream is to be a successful day trader!
