newbie member

Hello all !, i tried connecting up to this site 144 days ago and had trouble with doing so, after many attempts and e-mails to Big Mike , and replacing my cable modem and switching over to chrome i;ve finally landed to my suprise. Well Im a semi retired 57 years old recently layed off from a contracting company after a steady 31 years in the field of commercial HVAC. I ve been actively persueing a trading vocation for after retirement in twelve months, for a couple of years now, only to supplement my pension. So now im contemplating whether to go to a full time trader for a living?Apprehension and pressure at the moment is putting a damper on it at the moment, so we shall see. Nice to be on board !!

New old Member

Hi everyone.
I was an active trader 1999 until 2006 when I left trading to help a friend out for 2 weeks. That was 10 years ago. Tried to get back to trading in 2012 (when I originally joined this group) but never made it.
Now I'm trying again.
I'm sure the markets have changed a lot since I stopped trading and I will need to re-learn. I'm hoping gain some knowledge from this forum and share my previous experience.

Thanks

Ed

Hi All,
I have just joined this community as l have been recommended to this site to be the best to learn about Ninja trading platform.
My back ground is in MT4 where l learnt to trade to many up and downs and busted a few times.
MT4 has many limitations in it that at tick level there are no tools(orderflow) to analyse incoming data.
I am hoping that l learn the methods that of the members here who have kindly contributed knowledge and some being experts in Ninja scripting.
I have also seen a few utube videos about order flow concept looks to provide an edge as what the large traders are doing.
Remins to be seen if with own experience if orderflow does have an edge.
Love to carry on typing but not much to say for now.
Thank you
Raj

Hello

hi,

I am new to options and futures trading. Have been a buy and hold investor for ever. I'am tired of the constant ups and down of the market and instead of being a passive investor would like to take more control of my positions.
Wanted to meet, learn and share with people who have been down this road.

Bmasand

Options Trader Newbie

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie when it comes to trading. Started paper trading almost 2 years ago, went live in January 2016.
Like everyone else, lost some trades and won a few.
My primary goal is to sell options through vertical spreads. Eventually i would like to sell covered calls and naked puts.
Occasionally i buy calls or puts. I'll be sharing some of my trades with everyone, and would love some feedback.

Thanks.

Hello everyone. I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Terry Fisher. I trade futures almost every trading day, especially the ES. I am using some wonderful trading indicators, but I always keep an open mind to understand how others are doing with their methodology. Hope to learn a lot and share a lot with like-minded traders.

New Trader Building a Partnership & Trade System

Hello Everyone,
I am a beginner, I have purchased stock in the past and earned some money but now I am interested in becoming a trader to start my partnership because I have clients who are interested in becoming investors. My investing style will be Swing Trading. I joined this community in hopes to learn how to become a great trader from you guys and get help in choosing the right Automated Trading System which can help me reach my goals in trading & profits. I am open to any help, ideas, suggestions, knowledge and your experience. I want to create a diversified portfolio to try to reach and maintain a certain monthly and annual return. I am reading & youtubing as much as possible but the best of it all is getting information directly from some of the most experienced traders.
I am happy and excited to be here and Thank You Big Mike for accepting me. I am eager to get started and I want everyone to Please reach out to me because I really need you guys.
Thank You So Much!

Wow , very nice forum. I just discovered it and I must admit I like it a lot already.
Anyways, I am trading for 6 years mostly options (for swing trades) but I do also trade futures actively by day-trading them using some of my setups. I might swing-trade as well futures but that is kinda rarer. If i like to hold a position for longer-time frames I will probably use options.
But anyways I will start reading some of the amazing articles I encountered already and wait to learn a lot of stuff here.
