I am learning forex after bad years on and off trading in options and stocks.
I am hoping I can catch the right way, and be discipline with my trading.
I can't post anything yet, as this is my first to write what I think/doing for my trade.
I've been to told to join this forum and learn to write here by my son.
I am now trying to build my own set of rules.
I hope I can made plan and trade that plan, posting here
and got comments to boost up my confidence.
A bit of history to set the stage: I was married to a Chinese spy; she got most of my wealth when she divorced me to marry a billionaire. I'm 70-years-old and have a 10-year-old daughter. I can't afford to retire, so I've chosen trading to augment my cash flow.
My [trading] story is about what you'd all expect: started, lost, studied, lost, etc. Now I've built my resources back to begin the saga again. What did Einstein say, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result?" Hopefully, this time I'm smarter. I haven't yet pulled the trigger yet and, truthfully, I'm a bit timid. I trade futures and follow coffee. The fundamentals show this commodity should sell between $1.60 and $2.00, or more. It currently trades at $1.20 lb. I would like to swing or position trade.
Any help you can provide will be much appreciated and paid forward. So, help a newbie and gain good karma.
My first question is, does anybody have experience with Ablesys? I'm looking at that system to purchase. Any suggestions?
My introduction after 3 years being a member and overwhelmed by this forum. I had lot of learning to do (and still do). Long story short, I did become a member 3 years ago, and I was a very different trader 3 years ago vs today. I should have posted an introduction earlier (I don't think I did).
Anyway, I will be paid member soon, and trading journey is fantastic, love to learn (never stops), and love to trade.
Also, I am an IBD Meetup Leader (and the meetup group is a big one).
Wishing everyone success and happy trading.

I have been reading up on trading to get some knowledge before putting my money on the line, right now trying to get my test setup running and come up with some strategies to test with. I hope to be able to learn from the community and give back whatever I can.
I'm just new to the site, I have been trading for the last three years but still consider myself a beginner.
I'm thrilled by trading and I'm looking forward to learn a lot from everyone in here; my ultimate objective is to make this for a living, huh!
greetings from Austria! I have been trading some years ago but stopped after some time. After doing some business in the startup-section I'm now looking forward to get rid of the immense overhead coming with managing businesses. So, i loved trading ~10 years ago and now its time to open a new chapter.
