Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

I suppose you could say Iím a newbie, been searching for that holy grail for 4 years now.
The only live account I had, the broker did a runner with my 5 grand so Iíve been playing with demos ever since.

Just got into ninja trader a few weeks ago and everyone tells me this is the place to start.
So go easy on me Lads and Lasses, Iím getting on a bit now, that Holy Grail seems to get further away every demo account I open.

German Bund Trader

Hi Mike and fellow traders,

Finally got round to posting my intro.

I'm based in the UK and Day trade the German Bund on Eurex using TT's X_Trader and X_Study.

Quit my 9-5 job 18 months ago and and have spent the last year learning by doing :boxing
I mainly trade using Market profile and watching order flow and using Candlesticks.

I class myself as a beginner, and will appreciate any advice offered on this forum.

Thanks for Reading

My intro

Howdy all, I am just a motorcycle bum living the good life trading as I travel. I've been trading for about three years now using basic price action and with minimal indicators / oscillators. Mostly day trading stocks and now trying options. Look forward to whatever I can gleam here, and maybe even spending some time in Equador next year....

Potential Future Trader from Houston

Futures Edge on FIO
Hello All,

I have had some time at work to begin reading about trading stocks and I think it is something that I can do. I am working and living in HOuston, Tx as an engineer in the oil and gas industry. I was hoping to build a foundation through reading and simulation for 8-12 months before I actually start to trade. I was wondering if people in the same city ever met up to talk through this forum. Im excited to begin and I know it might be a bumpy journey but I am buckled in and ready to go.

I joined this forum because it is way more professional than most forums. I quit my day job to learn how to trade. Still learning. I trade FX, using MT4 platform, still demo trading. I want to learn other markets. I want to own a institute of proprietary trading in my country one day, and also set up the first trading arcade there. I'm also looking for successful traders who can manage MAM accounts and also structure trader education and live trading rooms with, for clients in my country. I am learning intermarket analysis, as well as correlation trading across EURO,YEN, USD & Gold.

I've been trading stocks and options part time for the past 13 years. A few years ago my health declined and now I'm dealing with poor cognition and extreme fatigue. Since getting sick I have turned to day trading the mini-dow (YM) and 30 year (US) futures contracts. I'm struggling with getting to consistent profitability.

Hi everyone,
I'd bet I'm newer to this than most - I don't really know anything about trading but my savings are depreciating in the bank so I'm looking for alternatives and trading seems like one.

I thought maybe a good trading room might be the best route - so I get someone else's expertise instead of the long journey to teaching myself. But when I got a couple days trial in a trading room and sat in on the trades - it was totally baffling and I'm none the wiser for it.

So I want to learn the best way, from the best sources - any suggestions much appreciated.

Testing, this thing on?

Hey every body. I dunno know much about any thing and am probably like alot of folks, being super busy with work, school, and family. I guess i joined about a year ago and never really got started learning. In fact I wasn't gonna start tonight but I saw the banner deal about never having made a post in 346 days and figure this is as good a place as any to jump right in. (i haven't even read the rules yet, oops!) I guess we will talk more in the future.
