Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Hello

Hey Guys and Gals

I'm new to this blog. I use the TOS platform to identify signals for my binary options trading. I trade short term and have been very impressed by your website.

Hope to post a little more here in the future.

Regards

Mike

Intro

Hi All:

I am Taylor. I have been investing for about 22 years and actively trading for about 13 years.

I am pretty much self taught via reading and constant trading of various forms. Trying to determine what works and what does not work. I have developed my own beliefs and strategies about the markets over the years.

I love to trade and I am pretty serious options trades but also trade equites and play around in the Forex markets from time to time.

I am hoping to get some wisdom from some forum members on ThinkScript for TOS. I have used Strategy Desk for years but now want to migrate and it a learning curve. The good news is that I studied programing in college so once I know the full API I should be able to make some progress.

Thanks Mike,

Hi all,
My name is Kenneth, a Belgian Guy, 24 years old, and now living in Montréal, Canada for the moment.

I am a complete beginner in trading and hope I can learn very fast as I want to go to the market as soon as possible.
I will trade only one market, and try to specialise in the ES emini futures market.

If anybody here is also from Montreal (or surroundings), I would be happy to meet them in real life and discuss

Take care guys!!

Hi,

I am from Finland and trade futures and stocks. I used to do my investing by studying company fundamentals, but I started to study technical analysis because fundamental analysis didn't keep me from losing during the downturns of 2000 and 2008. At first my efforts of applying technical analysis to stocks didn't amount to much because most books about the subject are garbage. I was studying Computer Science at the time too and took a course called Artificial Intelligence. It occurred to me to try some of stuff that I learnt there and apply it to the prediction of stock price movements and my results improved. They were not great at first, but in time I got better, and now I am doing really well.
