Welcome to futures.io.

Welcome, Guest!

This forum was established to help traders (especially futures traders) by openly sharing indicators, strategies, methods, trading journals and discussing the psychology of trading.

We are fundamentally different than most other trading forums:
  • We work extremely hard to keep things positive on our forums.
  • We do not tolerate rude behavior, trolling, or vendor advertising in posts.
  • We firmly believe in openness and encourage sharing. The holy grail is within you, it is not something tangible you can download.
  • We expect our members to participate and become a part of the community. Help yourself by helping others.

You'll need to register in order to view the content of the threads and start contributing to our community. It's free and simple, and we will never resell your private information.

Hi

Hi!

Glad to join this Forum and it has loads of useful and helpful information!

Personally I think there are really many great webinars here. Currently checking out on trading psychology. I really like Tapatalk app, makes reading on mobile phone so much easier

Heard the phrase that trading "is a marathon and not a sprint", and I fully agree with it.

Happy sharing, happy trading

WPT

New Trader newbie

Hello everyone,

First, I glad to become part of this forum.

I´ve been learning the ways of the trade since past September(2012). I started like always with moving averages crosses, Macd. Then there was the phase that i couldnt even see the price bars. All that i trew away and began to read price action patterns. From there going to Andrews Pitchfork was a quick ride. While trading with pitchfork i felt something was missing. although its a real great method to structure your trading aproach. So i discovered weiss wave and vsa.
At this time (with about 8 months of dedicating about 7 to 8 hours learning and exploring) i became interested in volume profile and auction market theory. Especialy interested in the framework. Dom trading

I also became a member in this forum because i wanted to start a thread that explored the statiscal aproach to trading. Basicly im looking for some questions to ask the data. I dont want to be making type 3 errors.

Hope to add some insight to the forum aswell as to receive.

Thank You

only me, yumcha

Awesome site!
Already it has saved me hundreds if not Ks just being a curious guest. A struggling trader of the 95% herd, an easy victim to sleek marketing USA, a consistent sucker-sucker to claims of '60-85% system accuracy', ' a passion to train others to trade', 'enjoy teaching others' etc.- woe, that's me!
But not anymore. These days, it's a quick check with Big M before any purchase of system, subscription and what have you. That alone has saved me from myself. Thanks guys! Thanks Big M!
....ps. why do I get this feeling that I shall be finding more gems in this site as I continue to explore........
