I'm from Destin, FL Trading the eminis only. Traded stocks for 10 years now moved on to the eminis. Hope to learn and share, that's what trading is all about. A team effort.
I'm a trader of stocks (Australian and US) plus futures mainly on an end of day basis.
I have been trading for about 10 years now and have used quite a few packages in the past (metastock, amibroker mainly but dabbled with others such as omnitrader and wealth lab developer).
My main interest is in the development of mechanical trading systems and I do extensive system backtesting.
Look forward to picking up some new trading ideas plus giving a few of mine to the community too.
I'M a french Canadian Like most day traders I lost enough few thousand + spending money of none serious guy. Since july 2010 I have the account live and start to trading in sept 2009 . I start with Joel Wisssing commonity, but in french part.I was very disapointed of the lack of support, so I start to learning alone.
Later, I decided I wanted a forum to see ideas as well as learn from others. I wanted a way to be able to lookback and ensure I was following my own advice.
I didn't get back from here since a yr ago, now I can more understanding what trader talking. And I hope to share what IM doing on trading with other and be a Elite member.
I can see on different forum was designed with the specific goal of having a small community of traders focused on making money. There are other sites out there but I never really felt at home with many of them, their userbase is too focused on proving someone wrong instead of trying to help. Here is different....Thank Mike

Mostly here to find out about different ways of trading so i can add to my current style. Mostly trading Futures and Forex on NT.
Before i introduce myself i want to apologies when my grammar is not always 100% correct. My excuse i am a citizen of the Netherlands so not a native English speaker.
My name is Chris i am 52 years old, and started trading about 3 years ago. My story is not so much different than the most other ones. Blow up my account for a few times, but the last few months find the way up. The biggest change for me was the knowledge what kind of person i am. In the beginning i tried to trade on the 5 min timeframe. But trading this way just don't fit me. I make to much failures. What i needed was a structured way of trading, a method and time frame that suits me well. I discovered that using candlesticks on a 15 and 30 min Timeframe was the best way to trade for me. I make less failures have enough time to consider if i have to take the trade or not, etc. I still have a long way to go, but it already make me happy in the last 3 months i was able to reach my targets and goals. The biggest challenge still is to work hard on my mind setting.
I'm based in the UK and I've only recently found this brilliant site! Been trading on and off for about 6 years with shares and CFDs (oil, currencies and a few indices). Nothing heavy - gained a lot and lost most of it in that time! Would like to go full time one day with futures and I'm slowly building up to that.
