Hello,

I have been trading stocks for about 2 years, and doing ok, not great.

I am currently taking a class from Trading Advantage, and using TA Trader software.

I found this forum after I fount a Webinar about Investor RT software on youtube.

I have not blown up any accounts yet, and hopping it's not a prerequisite. We will see.

I am currently looking for a stable platform, and a better broker with lower fees that I can standardize on.

I can not possibly fight software, commissions and learn to trade at the same time.

My hobbies include being a flight instructor, and RC Aircraft & Drones.

Thanks

Ed

I've been trading 4 years, learning more every day. Seems like I picked the most volatile time to learn, but getting there at last. I've studied many "systems", found the a lot are not so good. Happily there are a few great ones like Big Mike's. I day trade in Forex, am a master in RSI thanks to a mentor who is kind enough to teach me. There is no "holy grail", you need to gradually tune your system into what works best for you. Like most, I was indicator crazy before learning Price Action is a major part of trading. Looking forward to learning from this site.
Thanks, Kevin

Hi Mike,

just beginning with trading (in the first phase, scouting market, platform, strategies). Currently investigating indicators, automated strategies, optimization, backtesting, the lot.... I can see that most experienced traders seem to go to the price action approach, let's see if that will be the path where I'll go.

Hi! I'm really glad to be here! Forex trading is something I devoted a few years of study and now finally I can say that there are really working patterns and everyone can take advantage of them!

Hi Everyone -

After years of occasionally visitng, I finally decided to join futures.io (formerly BMT). I finally got fed up with the trolls on many other sites...

I've been trading futures the past 20+ years, with many of the early years being unsuccessful.

I've been fairly profitable for the past 10 years or so, won a trading contest along the way, and abandoned a lucrative career 4+ years ago to trade full time.

In my "down" time, I write trading magazine articles, write a blog and do some trading system selling and consulting. But mostly, my focus is trading my personal accounts.

Trading is by far the toughest thing I have ever done, work wise.

I hope to pick up trading info, and hopefully also offer some good advice along the way.

Kevin

Hello everyone,

first of all thankfull to participate on the website.

An introduction of myself, wanted to do that "easy task" about a week ago, in between dinner and desert...

and now one week later, here it comes. The real version.

About 14 years ago, some one gave me a call, telling me that if I had any money left, I should buy the stock XYZ,

since that was the so called company of the future.. -- before the call I hardly knew stocks existed --

Well, I bought the stock at around 20 dollars each I think - and watched it go up all the way up till 105 dollars each,

and all the way down..... The person telling me to buy the stock even gave me a call about having to take my

profit.......but taking profit did I ask him, isnt the company the promis of the future? When I took profit, what then to

do?

Well, this event slowly got me started. Now 14 years later, and finally had 2 years in a row of making a break - even

result at the end of the year. Ofcourse I had some very bad years, some good years, but all based on being

on the wrong side of the casino table.

Since 2 years I noticed that I , myself, was the biggest threat of my results, and so I slowly started working

with indicators signalling me when to act. That move gave me the first 2 years of solid break even results I just told

you about.

Now started working with Multicharts combined with Easylanguage. Getting to know Multicharts, and being at an

absolute beginner level at EL / PL.

My idea for MC is for once being able to stay on the same platform, take it along with me, and alongside work on my

EL / PL, working on ideas, maybe even a strategy, and being able to deploy my "soon to be" strategy's and indicators

on all data of choice. ( and never ever have to worry about getting to study another platform )

Hope to share my enthousiasme on the website, and by the time I get smarter on EL / PL / MC being able also to share

my future knowledge.

Hope to talk to y'all soon.

Thanks for having me,

Wouter
