Hi Mike and all members. I heard of this forum on another forum where respect for one another is, to be generous, lacking. I'm sometimes amazed at what is allowed to be published.
I've been trading for maybe five years. Tried all sorts of Experts, paid advise that not-so-slowly fades away. I have to "pull the covers" on myself and admit I was really lazy about my trading. Got wiped out several times.
For about the last three or four months I've started paying close attention to world events, mostly Europe. Little by little I've grown my account. I can't say I have a "style" or system really. Maybe I do and just don't know it. Main thing is I've learned to "listen" to what others say and do. From the little I've seen here I'm quite impressed and hope to be able to contribute along the way.
Thanks again, all!
I have been trading about 6 years. I did join for the free downloads but have alredy looked at so many indicators I thought, why not try to do this the right way. My trading was pretty mediocore until I really concentrated on trade management to go along with the methodology I use. I now have more confidence and some more success. I review the day every afternoon and now I have to start writing in a journal. The review sure helps . Looking at what the market did not what you did has really opened my eyes. I can trade with bigger stops and I can stay in longer. I hope to learn and contribute in this forum. Thanks for having this for us. It is nice when you finally stop the bleeding in trading. I look forward to the interactions.
I said the icon is to the right of the post. And it is.

Need help? 1) Stop changing things. No new indicators, charts, or methods. Be consistent with what is in front of you first. 2) Start a journal and post to it daily with the trades you made to show your strengths and weaknesses. 3) Set goals for yourself to reach daily. Make them about how you trade, not how much money you make. 4) Accept responsibility for your actions. Stop looking elsewhere to explain away poor performance. 5) Where to start as a trader?
