I'm new to futures trading, I traded some stocks, for a short period, but I turned my eyes to futures. I started 4 months ago and already lost half of my account

First let me thank you for allowing me be part of the club.
It seems good money is being made here.
To be honest, I'm quite new in this business.
I used to buy and hold stocks, no more then that.
That did not work out in the way I wanted, so is was time to make a switch.
Time for action!
My favorite instrument at the moment is the Future Dax.
For the time being I'm using the services of an advisor, that are really profitable without any doubt.
But it would give me some extra satisfaction if I'd be able doing it on my own.
In my opinion this forum could be helpful in reaching my goals.
So I'm very anxious to know what future will bring.
I'm a semi-retired engineer.....I do a little design work for other firms at home since going through a very rough stint of chemotherapy. I'm finally smiling again, about life in general, but certainly not at my finances...they got tanked..no, the correct word would be sunk, by all the medical bills my insurance refused to pay.
Nevertheless, I'm still hanging on to a few bucks in my MB Trading account and am a steadfast NinjaTrader user.
I seem to have lost a lot of my indicators, especially the ones that duplicated the Blue Wave Precision Trading package........grandkids can do great things with a computer
Anyway, if someone out their can help me get those back, I would humbly appreciate it. They actually made me some good money IF, one uses his own common sense and removes greed from the equation.

JP, Sorry to hear of your troubles. Hopefully there are some folks here who can help. I find the d9ParticleOscillator (Elite/VIP section) and SMI2 (Stochastic Momentum Index) particularly helpful. I don't suppose your "coverage" was through BlueCross/BlueShield by any chance, was it?
After all, it's what you learn AFTER you know it all, that counts!
It was just some indicators that I had downloaded from several sites that resembled the Blue Wave indicators. They were posted on several different sites but I can't find them now. I was able to use them with NT and change the setups to suit myself.
