I finally registered for an account after lurking for a while. A little about my trading career. I been trading forex for a while and in the process of switching from Forex to futures. My main reason I am switching is my style of trading is more respected in this market than forex. Well thats my personal opinion but from what I been gathering it just respects my style.

My style of trading is supply and demand. I find supply zone and demand zones set limits with my take profit and stop loss and go about my life. I am one of those traders who switched system after system with no results. I came close to blowing accounts but have not yet. i have always had good money management skills before even trading. Guess it paid off being a tightwad with my money since I was poor most of my life.... Now just a normal guy looking to do this full time. i still got a ways to go but thats ok. I am enjoying the journey.

I have no college education like a lot of traders but i have one thing some don't. i grew up poor and had to adapt to survive. Was not fun but it has made me a strong minded person and also compassionate towards others needs.

Enough rambling from me, just want to say hello and glad to be here. Seems like this will be my new hangout. Lots of good info on this site with people who want to help each other make it. What more can you ask for?

Have been trading stocks for about 3 years, wanting to learn because I was not happy with the big draw downs that I was taking in my retirement accounts. Seems that all the brokers wanted was for me to keep the
dollars flowing in and not worry. Then came the free fall and they were nowhere to be found. So I am going to try it on my own. Finding out that I need to study and plan, this site is one of the better ones that I have found no snake oil salesman here.

Hi Mike n All,
this forum looks like one I want to be involved with. I like Big Mike's rules for the room and this is certainly a place where everyone is the student and the teacher, regardless of their experience, otherwise we would be here, right?

Anyway I live in the northern beaches of Sydney, trade full time and I have like most, made some and lost some but overall my money management has been the key to my survival. I have just switched my charting package from Ensign to Ninja and hence finding this forum.

I trade the SPI, DAX and the FX Majors occasionally.

cheers
Birko

hope you have already learned your lesson on depending on other successful traders to guide and lead you in your own trading.

there are abundant of trading guru abroad here as well. they are just in different kinds of clothing not so easily recognized.

just hang on to your own money for the time being, until you can prove to yourself that your own trades are profitable and consistent, K?

if and should you have any questions about trading, do not be too coy; just ask in the forum here--there are plenty of honest souls who would take time to spell out the alphabets for you, K?

wishing you successful trading here. cheers

Thanks Big Mike for Having this forum Looks like a wealth of priceless information. I have been trading for about three years on and off, never really made any money, would always do well one day and lose it all the next. I hope to change that and become a consistent and profitable trader.

Thanks

Tim
