Big Mike

Very pleased to be a part of your community. I read your initial post about losing money and then settling in to a more rational method of trading. Have done better recently developing more discipline. Look forward to increasing my trading capabilities within your Forum. Thanks.

I found futures.io (formerly BMT) forum while searching for web for NQ trading strategies. I'm planning on switching from overnight equities positions to daytrading futures in order to avoid PDT rules. Looking forward to learning and picking up some ideas about trading NQ.

Hey Mike,

I was looking for info on TT Trader and you forum came up...with valuable instruction. Thanks!

I've intended to trade futures for years, and promised I'd begin this year. I studied. Opened an account. Learned the software. Attended seminars. And when I was on the verge of going live...MF Global blew up.

Once I figure (or should I say MF Global figures) out where the cash in my account went, I plan to transfer it to a new firm and embark on my trading career.

Glad to be here.

Tim

Hi,

I just want to introduce my self. I'm new to trading and looking around trying to figure out how to make money and not lose it. Big Mike Forum was highly recommended. I love the idea of sharing among friends. And as soon as I know something I will share it. Good trading.

Hi futures.io (formerly BMT),

53 days and no post...until today. I haven't started trading yet. Hope to start soon.

Favorite trading book: Pit Bull by Martin Schwartz

Currently reading: Reading Price Charts Bar by Bar by Al Brooks

This is a great website.

Thanks Mike

futures.io (formerly BMT),

I've also blown out many accounts many times and lost a fortune.. I've recently became consistently profitable and am a full time trader (for now).. hoping to continue as a full time trader and not blow out my account again... I'm always looking to learn from others and my method is and always will be in a process of refinement.. Heard good things about this place and look forward to read the posts and learn from other successful traders.

Hello folks. I have tried a lot of different approaches, read about everything out there, explored many different systems using fundamentals and technical analysis, traded stocks, options, penny (although no futures or forex). I am a craps player, and have explored the statistics of gambling. After all of this, I have found that the best performers for me have been the buy and hold winners over long periods of time. My short term trading seems to look a lot more like a random walk.

I am interested in learning from others who have found a way to make short term trading work, and happy to trade my experience.

Cheers!
